cleaning day

Today I cleaned like there was no tomorrow. Just don't go in my laundry room...lmao!

My real dad, step mom, brother, my grandma and her husband come down today, to see my house finally. That's why it was a cleaning day...lol We all had a great visit. I saw them Monday over at my aunts house and we agreed on today would be the day they came over to see me. Saira entertained us for the afternoon.

So now I have a really clean house. :) Finally got all that Christmas present stuff put up. Now I can finally put away my tree and decorations. I left my house decorated so my family could see it all. I honestly don't feel like putting it all away though. I hate putting things away...lol

Cute

I was thumbing through the pictures I've taken over the holidays and found this one of Saira. This was Christmas Eve at my aunts house. She was sooooooo excited about opening presents. And that's her pile and there's more around her...lol

Busy busy

I've been so busy. Monday we had another Christmas gathering with the other side of my family. It was so much fun watching my cousin open her blanket and her puppy dogs blanket. She was beyond excited about it.

Now my real dad, his wife, my grandma and her husband are coming to my house tomorrow and my house still isn't in order. There is Christmas stuff everywhere. And it's their first time to come to this house. I have so much to do. UGH!

Merry Christmas

I hope you all are having a wonderful Christmas!

Santa ate all the cookies that were left last night and must've liked the chocolate milk, he drank it all too. Saira wasn't really interested in what Santa brought her. She's not feeling well. She's ended up with what Ryan had a few weeks ago. Ryan went bonkers over the BB Gun that Santa brought. I'll post a picture of them later. But it was a good Christmas morning with the kids. We put the ham onto cook and then I made sweet potatoes with marshmellows to take to Chad's uncles house who lives next door. We had lunch over there and the kids got a few more presents from their aunts and uncles.

It sure has been a busy Christmas. Tomorrow we go to Houston to my aunts house and have Christmas with that part of my family....my real dads family. I have 2 more blankets to whip up before 4pm tomorrow. That will be no problem. :)

Merry Christmas everyone... enjoy what's left, it's almost over.

Santa Claus is coming.....to town!

YAY! I'm so excited, I can't stand it! (oh and I hope you make it through the list of goodies we've gotten.)

We got up at 7am and prepared a Christmas Eve breakfast and had his mom, dad, brother, sister and niece over. I fixed pancakes, biscuits, eggs, sausge, bacon, coffee, orange juice and milk. Then we opened presents.

My mother in law gave me a bath set that I wanted and my sister in law gave me some bubblebath. They gave Ryan a remote control truck and Saira a Cinderella doll with a change of clothes, the dress lights up and the shoes too. They gave Chad a box of chocolate covered cherries, Aspen cologne and socks.

Chad gave me a new chain for my mothers charm. OMG, it was $150. He also gave me a watch, it's sooo pretty. It's a Relic. I gave him a new shower head for the shower, Polo Blue cologne, a shirt from Big and Tall and I made him a blanket. I made both the kids a blanket and we gave them a few outfits so they could have something to open this morning.

So then after we cleaned up, we went to my great aunts house. My mom and her boyfriend were already there. And lunch was ready. I was upset, I was suppose to help my aunt, but she got it all done. We weren't going to eat until 3pm too, but we ate at 1'ish.

The kids passed out presents with the help of my brother. The kids had such a good time doing that.

My mom got me a filing cabinet. To file all her PartyLite orders...LOL ;) And she got me this really pretty sweater from OldNavy, now we're just waiting for a cold spell around here...LOL Oooo, and she gave me the perfume I wanted. Miracle, So Magic by Lancome...Mmmmm smells gooooood. And she gave me a $20 gift card to StarBucks...she's the bestest! And she got the cutest little thing, a thermometer from Avon, it's called Snowy Days, it's so darn cute!!! It has snowmen on it. Cute cute cute!! She gave Saira a whole bunch of cute clothes from OldNavy. She got Ryan the fishies for his fishtank earlier this month and she gave him some clothes. Chad got an outfit from the Big and Tall store...a $100 outfit.

My brother got me StarWars 3, it was on my wish list...hehe! LOOOOVE StarWars!! He got Saira Mary Poppins on DVD and Ryan Polar Express on DVD and I think he got Chad Cinderella Man on DVD. So we all got a movie from him. Saira watched hers as she went to sleep last night. CUTE!

My moms boyfriend gave everyone a $20 giftcard to Best Buy. We can't wait to go. I believe we're all going to get a movie each.

And my aunt got me a new set of Rubbermaid. I was in dier need of them. Got some folder stuff for my filing cabinet and a label maker, to make little labels for folders and whatever else. I got this nifty thing called a Cocoa-Latte. It makes all kinds of hot beverages. And she got me the Betty Crocker Bake'n Fill bake set. It makes those dome cakes, like you see on TV. So she got Ryan a PlayStation2 for his bedroom and a game. A couple of movies. And she got Saira the Dinsey Princess TV and matching DVD player.

There are more gifts I'm sure, but I can't recall them at the moment, but I think I'm pretty close at getting all of it, by 1 or 2 items. :)

We got home tonight and I hooked up her tv and dvd player, awww, it's so cute and pretty! She went to sleep watching her Mary Poppins movie.

Gotta run, the kids have their gingerbread men, girls and trees on the plate for Santa. They made chocolate milk for him this time. And now it's time for all little boys and girls to go to bed...

Merry Christmas everyone!!

Story of Santa and update on my blankets

So on Wednesday, my dad calls needing a ride to the AMVET's. He's been asked to be Santa for a family in need. The AMVET's put together several big boxes of food for the family and toys for the 3 kids. And my dad played Santa, dressed up and all, it was his first time ever...lol But it sure was cute!! Well, he wanted us to go so the kids could see 'Santa' too. Now, I don't know if you all recall, but Miss Saira is not all that keen about Santa. He's a stranger and she doesn't like strangers...lol So I never thought she'd talk to him or sit on his lap. Well, don't you know she was all excited this time, talked to him and even ran up and sat in his lap. Perhaps she could feel the vibe that he wasn't such a stranger or something. It was great. Nearly wanted to cry but I couldn't get over the funniness of him being Santa. It still cracks me up. But she didn't want to sit on Santa's lap a few weeks ago when Santa was at school. (not my dad...lol) She didn't scream or anything, she just didn't want on his lap, so I was proud that she got on his lap this time. ;) I got pictures, but it's not a 'professional' kinda scene. It was at the AMVET's, so excuse their mess...lol

Now, about the blankets. I've gotten all of them done but 2. They don't need to be ready until Monday anyways. I'm a blanket making fool now. LOL Oh, actually it's 2 1/2 blankets. Not even 1/2...lol It's for my cousins puppy dog. To match the one I'm making her.

New Computer

Yesterday I got my moms computer. Her boyfriend got her a new one so she gave hers to me. It's so much faster than my old one. I got it all hooked up tonight. It's great. Has double...or even more...of a hard drive than my old one. I've been adding all my links to it tonight. Got my email going, but I canNOT figure out how to get my address book added. UGH! I've never had a problem with it. Cause I've restored/reformated/cleaned up my computers alot and would add my address book with no problems. My computer was Win98 and now I've FINALLY moved up in the world to WinXP. YAY!!! How exciting is that? LOL

I'm pooped and need sleep. Will post again tomorrow... about Ryan and Saira exciting day they had today. A little hint: Santa/My Dad

Christmas Vacation

Oh yeah! It's Christmas Vacation time. The boy child will be home forever it seems. Boy did this last week suck. I didn't get to enjoy that last week of school. Cause he was home 3 days. fun fun! Actually, the kids are being ok since yesterday afternoon. I can tell they are ready to rumble though. Is it Jan. 3rd yet?

I Love PartyLite

Yay! I got the new 2006 stuff today! New scents and a new item. Got new books! It was like Christmas already! Oh no JC...they don't have Ginger Pumpkin anymore, that's the one you had before. PurpleMama, I know you are excited about the new books. I am going to be so busy in January with candle parties, I just can't wait!

I'm so excited... I just can't hide it... I love PartyLite!
(It's what we say at our meetings each month while we do raffle tickets when the numbers are being called out...lol)

Poor Baby Boy!

My baby has Scarlet Fever. He came home Friday afternoon complaining of a sore throat. 1st time ever too. Well, we did medicines and wasn't helping. So this morning I decided I'd take him to the doctor. Got him there at 2pm and the doctor tells Ryan to open up and say 'Ahhhhhhhh', and he did. And the doctor said instantly that he had strep throat with scarlet fever. Ryan has a rash on him from head to toe. He gave us a prescription for penicillin, he has to take it for 10 days.

Christmas Presents

My best friend introduced me to these really cool no-sew blankets made with fleece. Then we decided, "Hey, lets make everyone a blanket for Christmas, they aren't expensive and it's meaningful!" Here I am December 11 and have 10 blankets to make...LOL I've only made one...LOL It sucks cause this coming week I'll be pretty busy. Ryan has his Christmas play tomorrow night at the school and then again Tuesday morning. Then Wednesday is his Christmas party. Don't know what's happening on Thursday and then Friday is early out. Then he'll be home all the following week. YAY! Dont'cha just LOVE vacation time from school...LOL So if no one hears from me for awhile, come looking for me on my livingroom floor. I may be stuck there and not able to get up...LOL Due to making all these freaking blankets... ;)

Hope everyone is enjoying the Holiday Season! I sure am, cause it's actually cold here in Southeast Texas. It's usually nice and toasty on Chrismtas day.

Yay, Christmas!

This evening we went to the Christmas Parade in town. It was so neat getting to see the lights. Saira was being a horses butt, but I think she liked it. One man brought over his 2 year old shetland pony over to me and the kids and Saira didn't want to pet him. He had Christmas lights on him, it was so cute. This kids got to see Santa ride by. I was thinking Ryan was going to wave his hand and arm off of his body. He waved and waved and told everyone Merry Christmas as they went by. It was nice and cold tonight too. Me and Ryan wished we had hot chocolate at the parade.

Saira got to help me Christmas shop for my mom today. She thought that was so cool. So tomorrow we are going to wrap her gift. She's so excited about seeing Santa to take pictures. And she has it figured out as to what she's going to tell him what she wants for Christmas. She says she wants a watch, a braclet, a purse, a pink barbie gun (that one makes me laugh so hard!!), and a blanket (which I'm making).

Hope you all are ready for Christmas, just 25 more days left. Go check out my ticker at the bottom of the page. I have several different ones. :)

Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving was really good. It was the smallest gathering I've ever had. It was just us 4, my dad, great aunt and brother. None of Chad's family came over, like they were suppose to. But that's alright, we had a nice day anyways. I baked the turkey and I made macaroni and cheese, greenbeans, 2 chocolate chip cheesecakes and the cranberry sauce. My great aunt provided the rest of the dishes which were the dressing, diry rice(not cajun style...lol), augratin potatoes, sweet potatoe casserole, giblet gravy, rolls, pumpkin pie, pecan pie and white stuff. We had a great feast!!

I hope everyone had a great Turkey Day!

I'm an officer!

LOL! I was elected the Parent Volunteer Coordinator for the PTO at Ryan's school. I think his Pre-K teacher from last year had something to do with this...LOL I went to the first meeting but I didn't go to the second. The third meeting with be on the 28th when the kids go back to school after Thanksgiving. Thank God I'm not the President, Vice President, Secretary or Treasure...lol Cause I don't know anything about this PTO or even PTA stuff.

My Luck

It started off a few weeks ago. JavaMama's post in her blog reminded me about it.

I was grocery shopping and backing out of my parking spot. I was putting it in drive when a woman across from me starting backing up as well and hit my bumper. I throw it in park and look over and this crazy woman has already gotten out of her truck. She's in a little rinky dink Nisson Frontier. And me in my big ol' Dodge Ram 1500...with 20" rims...so I'm like much bigger than this woman. Luckly I didn't get any damage. But my bumper hit her tail light and broke the cover, that's it. All the lights still worked. She made me stay there while she went back in the store to get a disposable camera. So she took pics. I took pics with my cellphone....
So she demanded that we make our claims...blah blah blah. Chad laughed and thought the woman was plan stupid. We couldn't call the cops about it because it was on private property (the grocery store parking lot)

Ok, so next, which I guess is this morning. Saira and I are walking out of Wal-Mart and an old man hits us. Literaly, he bumped into my elbow. I had to jerk Saira out of the way or his tire would've run over her feet. She was holding my right hand and the man was coming from my right. So Saira was on the bad side. My elbow literaly stopped the man. My elbow is all skinned up. Saira and I are totally ok though.

Next, this evening I see a little copperhead snake by a tree in our yard right up beside the house. I had my dad stomp the hell out of it. Yay Dad, hero of the day, he killed the snake. Man, that gave me the hebee-jeebee's!! What's crazy is that thing was about an inch away from my flip-flop wearing foot. ACK! ewww! EEEK!

I guess that's it for now. I'll let ya know of anymore interesting mishaps. :)

What does Jayme need?

Thought I'd finally do this. Stolen from Blue, JavaMama and PurpleMama.

1. Jayme needs to start working. (whatever! lmao)
2. Jayme needs it. (You bet I do!)
3. Jayme needs to stay in America. (I wasn't gonna leave...lol)
4. Jayme needs human contact. (boy howdy I do!)
5. Jayme needs online adverting.
6. Jayme needs supervision. (rotf!!)
7. Jayme needs blood relatives. (I have those already??)
8. Jayme needs to file with the Feds. (Oh really?!?!?)
9. Jayme needs tenants. (I have enough...LOL)
10 Jayme needs to quit her job. (don't think the kiddos will like that, but OK...LOL)

Do a google search and type in, "(your name) Needs" to find out what your needs are...lol

Fall, yeah right!

Here it is, November the 8th and we in Southeast Texas are wearing our shorts and flipflops again...LOL It's just not right I tell ya. I need some pretty fall colored trees around me, some crisp cold air. I think I'm living in the wrong region. These HOT Novembers are getting old now. ....watch, Christmas Day I'll be in shorts again...lol Well, at least last Christmas Day....it snowed. Well, kinda sorta. We had a white ground for a few minutes. It never really stuck. It sure was nice though. Bet that won't happen again in my lifetime.

Happy Fall Everyone!

Halloween Time

Gesh! What a crappy Halloween EVER! My poor little kiddos didn't get to go trick or treating this year. Mother Nature decided we didn't need to go this year or something. She opened up a big flood in the sky just before dark. It was terrible. I had bought 4 huge bags of candy for trick or treaters. But now my kids will have to eat it all...lol At least I had some candy for them. And we dressed them up and took them to my friend Nina's house and to their grandparents house down the road and they got a little bit of candy from them.

Yay! Finally Home!

This morning we finally got electricity back, since Rita came through. I was sooooo happy that I cried for awhile. Me and the kids went grocery shopping and to Wal-Mart. We had to stock up on cleaning stuff and things for the fridge and deep freeze. We lost everything in them.

Ryan's excited, he starts back to school tomorrow. He missed his "school mates" as he calls them.

Visited home

Today the kids and I went home and visited for a little while. We took a look over around the house to see what Chad and his friends had done with the cleanup. They did a really good job. There are still alot of trees and limbs all around the yard though, but they just can't take care of all of it.

So then we went to my good friend Nina's house and visited for awhile. The kids snacked on all her "treasures" she's collected from the National Guard. lol "treasures" meaning the MRE's and other packaged meals. That's what shes called them...lol

It was nice to get out and visit like we use to. :)

The Birthday Boy!

My baby boy is now 6 years old! It's amazing how time has gone by so quickly! We had a great little party for him though. Even though we weren't at home. He was wanting his friends from school to come, but I think he understands the problem. So we got with my cousin and her 2 young boys and we had a great little party for him. It was a football theme. We did that for his 2nd birthday. My mom bought his cake and OMG, it was sooooooo good!

Happy Birthday to my little guy. :)

Damn Rita!

Look what she's done to me!

Rita came through Southeast Texas on Sept. 23rd (Chad's birthday) and 24th. What a great gal she was. She knocked out all power in the area. And she left me having to live with family. Cause in Sept. it's way to hot to live without electricity. I'm so thankful that she didn't do any damage to my home though. I just wish I could go back home and live once again.

No more rain!

Saira thinks we don't need anymore rain I guess. A minute ago she hears it thunder and she blurts out....

"Rain rain gooooo away! Rain rain goooo away!! Rain rain goooo away!!!"

She was singing the song but she didn't know the other part of it...LOL

My night out

Saturday night I went out with my husbands best friends wife. We brought her brother in law and his best friend with us. We had a blast. Chad, his best friend, his cousin, a friend and another close friend went to his other cousins house to watch the Texas vs Ohio State game that came on last night. They also played a college tournament on PS2 before the real game. But anyways, we went to a mens club. The guys had VIP cards and they got in free, but me and Jennifer got in free cause it was girls night. woohoo! LOL It was rather boring and drinks were to expensive so we didn't stay all that long. Then we headed over to a dance hall. After the guys were finished watching the game they came and joined us. I was already toasted by the time Chad got there...LOL But we had such a blast. It's nice to get out without kids sometimes. :) :)

Wonder whats in the works for next weekend? I know we'll be doing something cause our 8 year Anniversary is on Tues. the 20th.

Ryan's 1st Football Game

That was TOO DARN CUTE! I've seen a few Pee-Wee football games, cause my little brother in law was on the Pee-Wee team the last 2 or 3 years. But I paid more attention this time cause my Ryno Man was playing. Ryan is one of the starting players so he got to play alot. His team lost their first game though, but that's alright. That doesn't matter. Those boys had so much fun tackling the other team, rather than each other. Cause during practice that's what they do is practice tackling on each other. LOL I can't wait for next Saturdays game!

Strong Willed Little Girl

OMG ya'll! I am so extremly proud of Saira tonight. Tonight was the rival football game between my highschool and Chad's highschool at my school. So I put a pullup on Saira knowing she wouldn't be able to make it through the game or whatever. After halftime she starts telling me, "MOMMMMMMY, I need to peeeeeee-peeeeeee!"....over and over again. I would've jumped up and taken her, but HELLO the restroom was clear across the other side of the field. UGH! I actually told her that it was ok, cause she had a pullup on. I still didn't think she'd make it, ya know. Well, a good 5 minutes goes by and she's still telling me. I told her the restroom was way over on the other side and pointed it out. So she kept telling me, "Mommy, I need to peeeeee-peeeeeee...over dare!!!". I couldn't take it anymore, I figured what the heck, lets give it a try. I still didn't think she'd make it over there though. We get there, have to wait in line for maybe a minute and a half. You know, that's a long time for a potty training kid. I said, "I just know your pullup is wet."

Don't you know....she proved me WRONG! GOOOO SAIRA!!! I was so excited. I don't know who was cheering more, me for Saira or the cheerleaders for the football team...LOL

Oh! And then after she ate some dinner when we got home, I had her get on the potty again and she went. Man, everyone needs a neighbor lady like I have to get their kids potty trained...LOL

Such a Big Girl!

What a day! My little girl didn't act very little today. She had her little friend come over to play this morning. And little friends mama told Saira she needed to wear panties instead of her pullups. So don'cha know, Saira goes to her room, puts on panties and comes back to us and says, "Dare! I put my pannies on." About an hour later the little friend needed to go potty. So Saira, the little girl and her mama all go to the bathroom. The little girl pee pee's and then Saira says she needs to go. And she DID. AWWW, her pee pee'd on the potty! She's pee pee'd on the potty a few times before, but this time was different. So anyways, she went next door with the lady and her little friend. They even took a nap all together...lol She never would pee pee while she was there though. While they were gone, I went to Wal-Mart and McDonald's with a friend of mine. It was so nice being kidless. I get back home and call Saira to let her know I was home and they all came over. Then we all went to the school to pick up our boys. Her son is in Ryan's class. We get back home and Saira finally has to pee pee again and she did it on the potty...awwww! BIG GIRL! All this potty stuff was the neighbor lady's doing. :) Well, she finally had her accident tonight. I kept asking her if she needed to go poo poo, and she kept saying "noooooo" everytime. But I had to go get dinner cooked and don't you know, she went to her room and pooped in her panties...darnit! Oh well though, she did good with pee pee'ing.

Ok, so tonight, came bath time. Saira's in the tub playing. And I let her play for awhile. I went back in there and she took it upon herself to start washing up. And wouldn't let me help...LOL I think she washed herself 3 times...LOL

I'm so proud of her today. Major big girl day!! :)

Why am I so tired of the Internet? Is anyone else bored with it like I am?

Poor Kids

Woops, my poor kids are in for it now...LOL Last night I decided it's time to clean out their closets of all the toys. They have SOOOO much it's just so unreal. So I decided that today will be clean out day. I'll be taking everything to GoodWill. I hope I can get them both done in one day...LOL

Ok, I'm tired of the rain. And it's so weird...It starts raining around 1pm every day...lol

Too early

You know, waking up at 6am is just to early...LOL Me and the kids made it Thursday and Friday. We got up and got ready and was ready to go before it was even time. But last night I didn't get to bed until 1am. I had to stay up and get this PartyLite candle stuff done. Normally I would've gone to bed at 10-10:30pm So I could have enough sleep. I do believe Saira and I will have a nap time today...lol Probably just after Ryan gets on the bus. Today is his first morning to ride the bus to school. He'll be on the big bus. Last year he rode the short bus for the Pre-K kids. He's also bring his lunch today. The 1st 2 days he ate the school tray lunch. He's excited to tote his little spiderman lunch box. Everything is spiderman.....lunchbox, backpack and nap towel. Last year it was the same thing....school box, backpack and lunchbox. Thank goodness it's new stuff...lol

Happy Monday everyone :)

Not Happy

Well, I just found out who Ryan's teacher is. He got the worst one. UGH! But my neighbors son will be in the same class along with Ryan's best buddy from last year. So there are some pluses. I wanted Ryan to have his teacher from last year's sister...it is her first year to teach and those girls are so great with kids. Their mom teaches 1st grade. I believe I blogged about this before...LOL So I won't bore you with that part. So I came home all depressed. UGH! But I've decided to look at it on the brighter side. Which is the neighbor boy is in his class and his best bud. Also his class is right next door to his old classroom. And I'll be able to visit with his teacher from last year. It makes me sad cause I won't get to have a close relationship with his kindergarten teacher this year. Like I did last year with his pre-k teacher.

Oh well though, I'll make lemonadeade from the lemons I was just given. :)

Just Beautiful

My heart just melted a second ago. Ryan comes to me and says, "That's just beautiful huh mama?". He was in the livingroom watching Land Before Time. It was over and the music was playing at the end. I could hear him in the livingroom singing and humming to the melody. Then he comes in here and says, "That's just beautiful huh mama?"

I haven't felt good today and earlier this afternoon he told me I needed to lay down and take a nap so I could rest. He told me to do that several times. He's been so sweet today. :)

New Look...

I'm going to give it a go at changing my background. Wish me luck. I don't know that I'll get it right. The codes for this blog stuff is weird. And I didn't put this pretty pink background up for me. My dear friend did it for me, and she's so great at this stuff....Hilary...wanna help??? LOL

Poor plant

For some reason, I can't remember to water my little ivy that Chad's aunt gave me a few months ago for helping take care of her when she had surgery. It's my first plant since we've moved into our own home. I wouldn't have old ones but a WITCH of a girl tossed my plants out, thinking I didn't want them. UGH! The ol' huzzy! She pissed me off big time, cause those ivy's were from my grandpa's funeral and my cousins funeral. And one was from YEARS and Years ago when I had a beta fish and thought I'd put one on top of his jar, but it didn't work out so I just potted the plant. I even had my dear friend Nina's brother drill holes in my metal pot so it would drain. Ahhhh memories of my good ol' plants. :( Makes me sad! :(

Well, anyways, I need to get some potting soil for this ivy that his aunt gave me...lol It needs to be repotted. And of course, forgetful me can't seem to remember to buy any...LOL I'm so lazy that I did buy a terracota pot to repot the little guy, but didn't get the soil, right... so I put a few plastic grocery sacks in the bottom of the pot to make the plastic container that the ivy came in stand up...lol

I'm pitiful! lol

Busy with Ryan

Well in Spring, it was T-Ball. The fall is coming and it's FOOOOOOOOTBALL time! We've signed our little guy up for youth football. Chad is going to help coach too. I think Chad is so excited about it. His dream is to be a coach. But we aren't sure if he's got the patience to do this with little kids. No, really, he'll do fine. But omg! Ryan is beyond excited about this. The kid got shoulder pads last Saturday when we signed him up and they gave him an old jersey so he can practice in. I kid you not, this child has not taken them off since then. He wakes up in the morning and puts on his pants from baseball, then slips on a tshirt and puts the shoulder pads on, manages to get his jersey on and THEN grabs his play helmet that he's had, gets a football and starts yelling out, "HUT 1, Blue 42, HUT HUT HUT!!!!!!" and runs around the house....ROTF!!!!! He thinks he's an NFL player already. But he won't take his get up off until bedtime...lol He's so darn cute with it all on though. Chad had a heart warming moment when he sae it on Ryan on Sunday for the first time. I do believe that's the moment Chad has waited on his whole life....to see his baby boy all dressed up for football. T-ball was cool and fun, but football is in the blood, it's in his family.

That's my boy! :)

Silly kids

A few minutes ago I told the kids to pick up their sandles by the door and put them on the shoe rack by the door. (we don't wear shoes in the house) So I told Ryan, you have 2 pairs, get them picked up and I told Saira, you have 1 pair, get them picked up. Chad has his good tennis shoes on the floor and I have my new pair of sandles. Ryan says, "mommy, why do you and daddy get to have your shoes on the floor still?" I told her cause There isn't anymore room on the show rack and also cause his daddy's show are like HUGE and don't fit on the shelf very well...lol He was fine with that answer. Just a minute later Saira blurts out, "OK, all done!!" She had picked up mine and Chad's shoes and piled them up on the shelf...LOL What a good cleaner upper, huh??? LOL

New Truck...WOW!

Today I was driving around in my hand-me-down '91 Ford mini-van and tonight I came home in a brand new 2005 Silver Dodge Ram 1500 QuadCab Lonestar Edition truck. Woohoo! We haven't had a new vehicle since Nov. of '97. Which was our '98 2 door Cavalier. We are so tickled to death.

Gotta love'em

I'm addicted to my Sims games again! AAAACK, HEEEELLLLPPPP...lol I'm hoping I get another expansion pack soon. Perhaps for my soon, upcoming birthday I can get one. I've already got Livin' Large, Houst Party, Hote Date and Vacation.

Anywho, I think it's time to play some Sims.

Later Gator!

Trip to the dentist

Poor Ryan had to go to the dentist on Thursday, June 16th. A cap had come off a molar and his tooth began to hurt him really bad. So I call up the dentist and got an appointment. They gave me a freaking 8am appointment. WHAT THE HECK, hello, that's way to early. We managed to get there at 8, thank goodness. We were first in line. YAY! So we went to the little room, he gets strapped down to the board and they get a look at the tooth and said it had to be pulled because the tooth was so far gone. Alrighty, that works, no drilling to totally freak him out. She was so cool, she went ahead and pulled his front top tooth that needed to come out. So he left with 2 less teeth. But she went ahead and capped the other molar that needed to be recapped. Go dentist lady. And it was all for a discount. She rocks! And Ryan was so brave. I liked her alot. She was so comforting towards him. I hope he gets to see her again the next time we go. :)

Live'n in the 80's

Alrighty, so maybe I've watched "13 going on 30" a little to much lately. But I'm always singing Pat Benetar "Love is a Battlefield". "....we are Young! Heart ache to heart ache, we stand!!! No promises, no demands...love is a battlefield". Last month I downloaded the song. And I just listened to it again. So here I am with my little fluffy 'rose' pen to my mouth like a mic and hopping and skipping around singing the song. Saira thinks I'm pretty darn cool...lol

OK, you CAN stop laughing NOW! Gesh...rotflmao!!!

It's an oldies night

And here I am tonight downloading all kinds of old country music that I remember listening to when I was a little girl. Although I have thrown in a few new good ones of todays new hits. Chad got me started on it tonight before he left. Him and Ryan went to play football on playstation with a few of the guys. Chad thinks Ryan's going to kick everyones butt. LOL I'll be sure to update you all on that one. :) But before he left we were listening to an Alabama song, "Close Enough To Perfect". And that got me started on an oldies kick. Country oldies that is. Any of you know of anything I should add to my list?

By the way, lets all thank Hilary for reminding me that I need to UPDATE. :)

For some reason I've been busy doing a bunch of nothing the last week. I suppose you can say we've been doing family stuff the last 2 weeks. Chad was without a job so we all kinda like hung out together and watched tv and all that jazz. So anywho, that's what's new.

Peace Out....(rotf)

Phones

So like, what's the point at being on the phone if you don't talk? HEHE I have a really good friend, where when we get on the phone, we start doing computer junk... like right now... We are on the phone... and blogging away. Yet not talking! ROTF It kills me! How about you Mary?

Whip it good

The other day Saira come to me, pulling her pull-up off. She has a clean one in one arm and her wipe in the other. She turns around says, "Mama, mama! Mama, Mama!! Pank me!!" LMAO So I popped her naked as a jay bird little hinney...HEHE! She then turns around and says, "Mama!!! NO NO More Pank Mama!! NO no more!!" HEHE!! She cracks me up!

This weekend

So this weekend hubby took us out for breakfast.......AT THE BREAK OF FREAKING DAWN! lol It was nice though. But who wakes up at 7am for breakfast? I thought he knew that IHOP served breakfast 24/7. But still, it was nice to go out as a family. This took place on Sunday. He says that's the only weekend we had because Saturday didn't count due to him having to work that day. lol Other than that my vans a/c was fixed. Praise the good Lord above for that. I went 2 years without it. UGH!! And here it was May and at 100 degrees or more with the heat index. Shewwww...HOT!

You like?

Scroll down and you can see the blinkies I've added that my friends at Moms-Online have given me. :)

How agrivating!

This is totally agrivating me now. UGH!!! I've had 2 friends of mine call off their candle shows. How hard is it to get your friends over to smell candles? This one girl didn't have a problem getting people over for her Jewelry show a few months ago. The same girl was wanting to become a consultant. I've had 4 people tell me they want to become a consultant. Which is totally good for me, because that means leadership for me if I can get 2 more people to join. IF those 4 will do it. I want to grow and be big in this, but I don't think I can when stuff like this is always happening. :( I've yet to have my 6 shows that's required.

April Showers Bring May Flowers

Yeah right! LOL What April Showers??? Guess we won't have those May flowers...LOL!!

Maybe Mother Nature got a little confused and thought it was May Showers Bring June Flowers...lmao!!!

What a BUSY day!

This morning was the parade. The kids enjoyed riding in it. But it sure was COOOOOOOOLD! I had to get Chad to come back to the house to get Saira a blanket to cover up with. I was in short sleeves, capri's and flip flops. BURRRRR!

By the time that was over I had enough time to get cookies baked and a few other goodies fixed for my PartyLite Starter Show. My show did really well. I'm still taking in orders for a few more days though, then I'll close it out. Thursday is my first solo-show. OMG, I'm already getting nervious.

Saira's Pageant

Awww, I was so proud of her!! I couldn't believe she did everything I asked her to do, right on cue. YAY, Saira!!! She ended up with 1st Runner Up. Everyone was saying she should've gotten "Little Miss Mayhaw" though. But oh well. At least she placed this year. :) I was so excited for her...and she was too. She's so proud of her trophy. Anyways, she did the bow when I asked her to, she blew kisses, she waved like crazy and clapped. She was loving it up on stage.

She gets to ride in the Parade on Saturday. Ryan gets to ride as well, with his T-Ball team. I'll ride with her and Chad will be on the side of the road videotaping his babies. :)

Hi, I'm your new PartyLite consultant

Yes, I've finally found one that I like. And that would be PartyLite, which is candles. I'm suppose to be inviting all my friends and family that I know to my "starter party". And I have to get 6 parties booked before I can even get my package from my sponser. I've only gotten 3 booked though. This totally sucks. I can't get anyone else to help me out. :( Maybe this just isn't something I should be doing. I was so excited and thrilled to finally have something to do. And I love all the parties. I know that the 3 girls that booked a party for me aren't really interested in doing one. My starter party is for April the 30th. That is not this weekend, but the next. ....OK, so maybe I'm not your new PartyLite consultant.

Ok, nevermind

Everything is resolved, I am once again your new PartyLite Consultant. :)

Parties Parties Everywhere

I think I might be addicted to parties...lol Let's see, About a month ago I went to a Lady DeSiree Lingere party and booked a party. Then the same weekend I went to a Premier Designs jewelry party and booked a party. So Saturday the 9th I had my jewelry party. BUT, I wanted to get into selling the jewelry and become a consultant. Chad and I talked to the consultant that did the party I went to and we decided that wouldn't work. You have to pay $375 setup fee. Then another $700 for the products to get you going. BUT, you can opt for other ways. Anyways, we said nope. The other day my friend from Alaska says she's become a PartyLite consultant. I'm like, what's a PartyLite? She says, "It's CANDLE'S". I'm like, "OoOooo!! Candles!!" Then I tell her, "well, I was looking into the jewelry thing, but we said no." She says, "PartyLite is FREEEE, you put no money into it." Right then I knew Chad would be ok with it. YAY! And he was. So the other day I got on the net and requested a consultant to contact me. And this afternoon I had a call from the consultant. I was tickled PINK! So now I'm working on my list for my Starter Show. Woohooo!! BTW, my lingere party is this Friday.

fish fish fish

The last 2 weekends we've become a fishing family. We all LOVE it. Chad's grandpa gave me a rode and we went to Wal-Mart and bought me a cheap little reel for it. Ends up that I have the bestest rode and reel. :) Haha! In the last 2 weekends, Ryan has caught 11 fish. I've gotten 4. Chad's gotten about 6 or so. He's been helping the kids mostly. Saira's gotten 2. She has her own little fishing pole too. It's the Princess pole. Ryan's is Batman. We've been mennow fishing. So we have a new family thing to do and we love it. :) And it's cheap! :)

He's so sweet...

This morning, when I got up Ryan put the tv on channel 3 for me. I was so suprised. The thing is, is that every morning when he gets up, he'll go to the livingroom and start to play his playstation. The tv has to be changed to 00 for him to play. And when he's done, he'll put it on 03 for me, but I always HAVE to TELL him to get off the playstation. But not this morning. When I got up he said, "morning mama, I love you!" and changed the channel. Those little things are such sweet moments.

Fishing Day

Today we went fishing. Oh my gosh! We had sooo much fun. It was the kids first time to go fishing. Ryan caught 9 fish. Saira caught 2. He caught the biggest fish for the day. Me and Chad were so proud of him. The kids cousin Brooke came and she got 8 fish. Chad's grandma and grandpa came along. We all had the greatest time. I ended up with the worst sunburn on my left arm. OOOOOOUCH!! I've been miserable ever since. Oh, I got 2 fish as well. Chad just helped all the kids. He didn't have time to fish. But we all plan on going again this next weekend. I'll be sure to sunblock myself, like I did the kids. :)

Easter

This Easter was so great. The kids woke up to see their Easter Baskets filled with goodies. That Easter Bunny leaves yummy treats. Then we got ready for Church. When we got home my mom was already hear. The kids totally loved that. They went crazy as soon as we drove up in the drive way, "MEME!!! MEME!!!". The kids love their Meme. Well, I baked a ham, made potato salad, deviled eggs, green beans, rolls and macaroni and cheese. Around 3pm Bettie Anne arrived. We had already done a few egg hunts outside and inside. And joined Chad's family at the church for a quick egg hunt in the freezing winds. WOW, I can't believe how cold it was. At least it wasn't raining. But we had a great day. I couldn't have asked for a better Easter! :)

An Update...

Well, I was to tired to fill you all in on our night at the rodeo and seeing Kenny Chesney. He put on a really good performance with having a boot cast, covering his lower leg. He had either broke and sprang his ankle or broke his leg. I don't remember what happened. But he had to cancel some of his tour due to the problem. BUT he said he couldn't turn down his Houston fans. That would be me...LOL!!! Anyways, I hadn't done so much walking in my life...I think. Well, since the last time I went to the rodeo in Houston. Which was about 3 years ago, or so. We saw Alabama then. And the time before that was in '99. I saw Faith Hill and I was about a week or two pregnant with Ryan. Well, enough of all that. LOL Kenny put on a really good show to be hurt. I've heard that he puts on an awesome show. I had a margarita/strawberry margarita, mixed while we walked around. We ate some bbq of course. Like Chad says, you can't go to the rodeo and not eat bbq. I agree! We didn't get back home until 1:15am. ACK!!

While I waited for Chad to get to my aunts house to get ready for the rodeo, my mom took Ryan to the Houston Museum of Natural Science. He had so much fun. They had some Meme/grandson time. Next on the agenda is Moody Gardens on Easter Break. I'm so proud that he'll have something to share with the class when they go back to school. (Thank you Mama!!) They got to see a movie at the museum, walk through a butterfly dome with live butterflies and several other things. He got a new dinosaur, t-shirt and 2 small little dinosaurs of bones. He made sure that Saira got a t-shirt and a dinosaur as well. She wanted to wear her shirt Friday when we went grocery shopping. So she put on her shirt...which is orange with a dino on it. And what kind of shorts do you think she went and picked out of her drawer??? This kid is so smart. She brought me a pair of solid orange knit shorts. I told her I was so proud of her that she picked out the orange shorts that matched the orange shirt. She said, "YAAAAAAY, Neeeeewt", in her soft little voice. It's so cute hearing her praise herself. (for those that don't know, Newt is her nickname and is the only name she will call herself. She won't say Saira...lol).

What else?!?

YAY for Monday coming. Ryan goes back to school. Never thought those words would come out of my mouth though. But it is so time for him to go back to school. And just think, he has a 6 day break for Easter. WHY?? He has Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Easter Sunday, Monday and Tuesday off. It's not like they just didn't have Spring Break for heavens sack. Oh well... He'll get to go to Moody Gardens with Meme. :)

I guess that's about it. Other than I'm getting the itch to garden. I need some flowers around this house. Next month we've lived here a year. Yep, already a year. AND NO FLOWERS! UGH!!! Time to make it pretty pretty.

Well, it's time for me to go do my good deed of the day, of which I've been doing since last Thursday the 3rd. I'll explain it all later. :)

Kenny Cheseny, here we come!!

Yes, I know. You're probably wondering what happened to me. Did I fall off the face of the earth or what?!? Nah! Just been busier than a popcorn merchant. What with Ryan being on Spring Break and all.

BUT ANYWHOOOO!!! Me and Chad are going to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo to see Kenny Chesney. Woowee baby baby!! March 9th is also our 10 year anniversary. Not our wedding anniversary but for how long we've been together.

I'll update later tonight.

ZZZZzzzz....

It's late and I don't really have much to say at the moment. Other than I wanna lay my head on my nice fluffy pillow. Hopefully I won't sit on Chad when I plop in bed this time. He's such the bed hog.

Oh oh oh! I do have one thing to tell you all. Ryan has his T-Ball tryouts/practice Thursday evening at 5pm. He's so excited. It's not really a tryout kind of thing. Because we've already paid and everyone will get to play. It's just basicly something for the coach's to see how much each of the kids can do and so forth.

Well... that pillow is calling my name... Night night!

D-O-G

Ryan was getting ready for school this morning and he's sitting at the door putting his shoes and jacket on. I hear, "D----O----G! That spells DOG!". I slowly turned and looked at him with a big huge grin and said, "YAAAAY Ryan, you spelled dog! Way to go!" Then he says, "C----A----T!" That spells CAT!" I said, "OH MY GOSH, you spelled cat, you are soooo smart!". I then asked him, "Hey, one plus two equals???" and he said, "THREEEEEEE!" These are the things they are working at in Pre-K. I'm just mind baffled over it. I can't believe my little baby boy is learning all these things. Before he walked out the door I told him, "Dang, I won't be able to spell in front of you anymore." LOL Well, yesterday I picked him up from school and I visited with his teacher. She showed me what they worked on yesterday. She wrote a sentence on the board and they wrote it too and drew a picture with it. The sentence was, "I saw a dog." Was it last week or the week before, when it was Washington and Lincoln's bday along with Presidents day? Anyways, during those weeks they worked on President facts. They kids learned that Washington was the only president that didn't live in the White House. Why, because it was being built at the time. Also, they learned what room the President has meetings in, which is the Oval Office. He knows there are 50 stars on the flag because there are 50 states. Oh man, there are so many facts he knows now. He told me there is 2 presidents that are daddy and son. Which would be the Bush presidents. But there are many many more clever things he knows. I was so surprised when him and the teacher were showing off their new knowledge

Horsey Horsey!

Saira got to see horses up close for the first time today. This child is scared of dogs, cats or any other kind of animal that is near her. Well today we stopped at Chad's best friends house and at his house he has a horse stable. He has 6 horses, 4 of which are his own. Anyways, Chad got out to say HI to him and then he tells me and Saira to get out of the car to come check out the horses. My thoughts were, "Oh yeah, sure Chad, like this is going to go over real well, HA!". I held her up so she could see over the rails. She made me keep our distance. But as Chad and Brandon always do, they talk forever and ever, and as they kept talking the more comfortable she would get. and it also helped to see Daddy petting the horses. So she finally gathered up enough nerve to FINALLY touch one. We were all so proud of her. A few minutes had past and of course Chad and Brandon are still chit chatting away and I let her down and she got up close to watch one of the horses eat from his bucket. I was all up in their conversations and noticed she was trying to hold her hand out to pet him again. We were all acting like we didn't notice her because she would stop but she finally petted him again. Once again we were all proud of her. This child is in love with horses. Uncle Brandon's going to have to look into getting her a pony now...AWWW!! She's been talking about the horsey's all day now.

Goodnight everyone

Why Why Why

Someone PLLLLLEASE tell me what is wrong with the girl child!! She is 25 months old and has been sleeping through the night since she was like a month old or so. Now all the sudden, well actually like a week ago, she's been waking up in the middle of the night yelling for me, asking for her door to be opened. This morning at 4:30am we went round and round over this problem until 6:30am. Yes, I slept late too. I don't understand what her problem is about wanting the door opened. Why all the sudden? I've had several talks with her about it. At first she was wanting to sleep on the couch when she started all this. The girl child is having major issues I think. And I don't get it. Well, through out the day I ask her where she's going to sleep at night and she points to her and says, "In bed!" And I tell her, "Yes, that's right. No more couch." and she says, "Ma'am Ma'am" meaning yes ma'am. Awww, isn't that too cute??!?? I'm just confused about this, because she's never been one to be scared of the dark or need a light in her room. She's ALWAYS been a wonderful great sleeper. HELLLLLP ME!!!! THIS IS NUTS!!!!

Family Movie Night

So we had a family movie night. Ryan wasn't to excited. Couldn't figure out why he didn't like our selection. I picked out Shark Tale. Everytime I saw the commerical advertising it, I would laugh my butt off. Especially when Will Smith would sing the little clip of "U Can't Touch This". Before we watched the movie, I went to Pizza Hut and picked up some pizza for dinner. Then we all gathered for the movie. We watched it and laughed through it. Then it was over and Ryan comes up to me...

"Mommy? Can you play it again please?"

"But I thought you didn't want to watch this movie?"

"But Moooommmmy, I really do like this movie. Can we watch it again pleeeaaase?"

So I put it on again and he's happy as a lark. Kids, they are so weird. LOL

Doctor Visit

This morning I took Chad and Saira to the doctor. Of course they weighed and measured her. And she is 23 3/4 lbs and 35" tall. That makes for a skinny tall little girl... ;) Saira just has a cough. And the doc gave her a good strong cough syrup. And then she saw Chad. HAHA, he got a shot in his butt...lol The kids thought that was pretty neat. Saira giggled so much over that. But Mr. Chad has broncitis and severe allergies. He got some strong antibiotics. She also perscribed him allegra, but we didn't get that yet. He did have the flu at first, but that part's gone now.

3rd Tooth Now

I can't believe that Ryan has lost his 3rd tooth now. And he's just 5 1/2 years old. He's about to lose a 4th. Which will make all 4 bottom center teeth. I can't wait for him to lose his top 2 center teeth. I think kids are way to cute with those teeth missing....

....well, as I was typing this out. Ryan lost the tooth that came out. He did the same thing with his first one. The tooth fairy didn't come to see him for his first tooth. He didn't have it for her so she didn't come. Now he's done it again. UGH! He said he wanted to look at it before she came tonight. I guess from now on I'm going to have to put the tooth box way up high somewhere where he can't reach.

....But anyways, he got the tooth out of his mouth his own self. He was so excited and proud of himself. The other 2, Chad had to assist in some slight pulling.

Well, speaking of Ryan. We've been working on getting 6 hours worth of books read. If he can get 6 hours done, then he'll get a free ticket to Six Flags Astroworld. So we've been working real hard to get alot of books read. :)

....a few minutes later.....
I found his tooth. All is well and the tooth fairy is on track to make a stop in Ryan's room tonight.

Sweet Baby

Today I babysat my neice. My mother in law was in the hospital getting over the flu and broncitis. If she were to stay home she would've ended up with neumonia because she has COPD. Anyways, my father in law had to go to work at 12. And my sister in law had to be at work at 11:30. So I got to watch Miss Shyanne. Saira stayed home with Chad today. He didn't make it to work, because he has the flu. Saira has something, don't know if it's the flu, she's got a nasty cough though. But so far Ryan and I are staying well.

Well, I forgot to mention in my last post that Ryan did the rock climb at the mall on Saturday. He didn't make it far, but he said it was pretty fun. Of course, I didn't bring my camera. I was mad after he was done. I didn't bring it because I didn't know we were going to do something new.

A Great Weekend!

Yesterday we took the kids out. Although Saira wasn't feeling her best. She's had an icky nose for several days. But she had so much fun. We went to Baytown to the Mall. Chad wanted to take me to see "Hitch". That was such a cute movie! LOVED IT! We took the kids with us. Saira slept during the movie and Ryan ate his popcorn and watched most of it. Once he told me he was bored...LOL That's his new thing. Guess he's gotten to the age of always saying, "I'mmmmmm booooooorrrrred". LOL But anyways, after the movie we took the kids up to the top of the mall where the carrasual is. They totally enjoyed the ride. Then we took them to the playroom. It's like those things at McDonald's where they have HUGE playgrounds of tubes and stuff like that. They had one for the regular kids and one for toddlers. So this time we let Saira have fun. She was such a big girl. We didn't think she'd do it. But she climbed all in the thing. She was a little slow, but it was her first time ever doing anything like that. We'll take her to the park and she'll play on the equipment there, but this stuff was like the thing at BurgerKing or McDonald's. Anyways, all of that took up our whole afternoon and evening. It was alot of fun. On our way home we stopped at Sonic and had dinner.

I've been reading a book to Ryan. It was my all time favorite when I was in the 6th grade. It's called, "From The Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler". He has to return it to the school library on Tuesday. I think he's the only Pre-K student to check a book out... ;) HEHE!

Woops, I forgot

I forgot to mention the computer stuff in my last post. DUH!! Wednesday I had to take the computer into the shop. After I reformated the computer it didn't work... the soundcard and modem that is. Because it wasn't original hardware. Although I had the drivers for it. Computers, they are so dumb...LOL They are like men, can't live with'em, can't live without'em. HAAA...lol At least it wasn't expensive like I was thinking it was going to be.

I've decided I'm the biggest slacker in the world. I just can't get motivated to maintain my photo contest that I've been running since April of 2002. I've got to get on the ball and take care of that.

Today the kids made out their Valentine's. It was so cute watching Ryan write his name on all of them. I helped Saira with hers. I held her hand and moved her hand on the cards. And speaking of Ryan's name. I also think it's cute when I walk into his classroom and see where he's written his name on the board. All the kids like to write stuff on the board. I just think it's adorable seeing Ryan's handwriting on the board. CUTE CUTE CUTE!!

While Saira and I were out shopping we bought Ryan's teacher a Valentine card and a gift along with a real small box of chocolates. Like I mentioned before, her and I have become real good friends. And it was really nice to hear her mention that she thinks more of me than just one of the parents, but as a good friend as well. I was like, AWWW! :) So that made it cool and funny, that I had bought her this little heart shaped plaque that said something about friends to give her at the party. Monday is the Valentine's party for his classroom. I'll be making a pan cookie like I did for Christmas. I'm not incharge of this party though. I did volunteer for the Easter party and I'm stumped on what to do. I've never had an Easter party. We didn't have Eater parties at the schools I went to. It was Halloween, Christmas and Valentines. Jenny (Ryan's teacher) and her sister says they had Easter parties when they were in Elementary. So I told them they can help me out with ideas. LOL Any of you have any ideas? I was thinking about an egg hunt in their classroom.

More BookFair and Computer stuff

Today I volunteered again. It was much slower than Tuesday, but it was still alot of fun. After school was out, Ryan came to the Library to find me. I know he was thinking that was really cool. Then he asked if he could go back to his classroom and wait, after he had thumbed through a few books he liked. A few minutes later, his after school buddy, Jasmine and him came back to the Library. They looked through a few more books and asked if they could go back to their classroom and play. They do that every Friday afternoon. So I'm sure they enjoyed getting to play together Tuesday and today. When they had walked into the Library together, I told one of the other volunteers that the Boosium Buddies were here. They are so cute roaming the school after schools out for the day.

The BookFair

Ryan's school is having the book fair at his school all week. So I volunteered my afternoons for Tuesday and Thursday. Today was so much fun. This one little girl came in and started gathered a pile of books and I finally leaned over and asked her how much money she had. "Five dollars", she says. One book usually costs about $3.99, so I knew she would only be able to get one book. So I kindly said, "I believe you'll only be able to get one book this time." And she was ok with that and said, "Ok, I'll get this book here then." She had about 6 or 7 books piled up. I thought it was the cutest thing. LOL I had Saira with me and she was extremely good. I was so proud of her. She kept the other couple of volunteers entertained when there were no children in the Library. I told Ryan's teacher that he could come to the Library whenever he wanted and I'd buy him some books. 5 books later...LOL...He got 3 and Saira got 2. And tonight we read them all.

On another note, I've decided I'll restore my computer tonight. Wish me luck...lol :)

Yay! A PS2

Yippy!! Chad's aunt that works at Wal-Mart called to let us know they received a shipment of PS2's. So after we ate dinner, I headed that way to buy one. When I got home Ryan was so excited! We got the new Slim Line PS2. It's teeny tiny, the size of a DVD case. I opened up the box and Chad asks, "Is that it???". I was like, "yeah"....lol. I was so trilled that they finally got some in. Poor Ryan was getting so sad.

UGH! What a run around!!

GESH! Today, me, Chad and the kids went searching for a Playstation 2. We looked at the Wal-Mart here in town and then we went to Beaumont. Looked in Best Buy, nope, no playstations. Looked at their Wal-Mart, nope, no playstations. We had Chad's aunt call all the surrounding 24 Hour Wal-Marts and no one has any. WHAT the HELL? UGH! Poor Ryan, he was so sad. :( I wanted to cry for him. That was his and Chad's present/gift out of the income tax return. We already purchased a game for them while we were at Best Buy. Saira was pleased as punch though. She got a pair of hoop earrings. They are so darling. She thinks she's all that and a box of chocolate now that she has earrings like mommy. Now we both have little hoop earrings. Lets see, I got a pair of shoes today and a desk. I'm so glad to get a new one. This ol' thing has been driving me crazy. It's basicly rigged on one side to keep it up. LOL Now I need to figure out how I'm going to get it put together. :)

Time to sing a song....

Rain rain go away, come again another day!!

I'm so tired of these icky, ugly, wet days. Once again, Chad was rained out from work. He got home at 8am. Hopefully tomorrow will be a much better day.

Ryan said the cutest thing ealier today. He brought up Ground Hog Day. I told him yeah, I think it's tomorrow (the 2nd). Chad said, that's when the ground hog comes out of his home and if he sees his shadow... And Ryan cut him off and said, "If the ground hog sees his shadow then we'll have more winter and if he doesn't then.... then spring is right around the corner." He said it all cute like. I was thinking what a smart little guy. He must listen so well at school. :) :)

Happy February everyone!! The year is on it's way to flying by so quickly.

Nice Family Time

Yesterday was a really yucky day from the rain and cold. Chad didn't go to work due to the cold and wet roads. He called in and over half of everyone was already rained out. So he got to spend the day with us. Me and Saira enjoyed having him home with us. He helped with getting Ryan ready for school. And then we all took him to the end of the road so the bus could pick him up. The little bus that always picks him up in front of the house was broke down. So we waited at the end of the road, he got picked up and we proceeded to town to take care of the shopping. Paid a bill and we had lunch as well. We got home just in time for Chad to go pick Ryan up from school. And then we went to the barbar shop to get hair cuts. Much needed hair cuts. Even though he picked Ryan up, Saira and I went to the school anyways to visit with Ms. Guye, Ryan's teacher. Her and I have become really good friends and Friday is our visiting day. Saira has a great time playing with Jenny, that's Ms. Guye. Today we went to her sisters classroom, her sister and mom both teach at the school as well. LOL, yep, 3 Ms. Guye teachers...LOL But anyways, we went to her sisters room to help her out with her ebay auction she won. LOL Nothing like playing on ebay at school...lol!! Saira did the funniest thing. She found this big dish full of those flat marbles and she was digging around in them. She got one and I told her that's enough of that and to get away from it. I figured I better move her away from the big dish. She said, "nooooo I 'eed two" LOL She needed two flat marbles. How does a 2 year old know how many two is???

For Christmas Ryan got flashcards, for letters and numbers. The last couple of days we've been going through all the letters. Even though the class hasn't been told which each letter is yet and what objects the letters start with. Although they can say the alphabet. But anyways, we went through the whole pile of cards and he knew them all except for maybe 5. At school they learn a new letter every week. As well as learning different things that start with that letter. One other thing that I'm proud about that he's doing now, is trying foods that he doesn't like during lunch. Ms. Guye's teachers aide has Ryan trying new foods.

The other day Saira and I were cleaning up the house. We started off in the livingroom, picking up all the scattered about toys. I instructed her to pick this and that up and she did. Then she went off to the corner to pick up the "junk" toys as I call them, and to put them in the toy basket. I found something else for her to take to her room and I told her to take it and she responded, "MAMA! I kean up". She said it like 3 times and I just died laughing and told her excuse me and I was sorry. LOL!!! She was referring to herself cleaning up the "junk" toy mess, letting me know she was busy. Silly little girl, she always cracks me up.

Today I picked up Ryan from his grandma and grandpa's house. He wanted to stay with his uncle last night. So I picked him up and we headed to town to pay a bill. I stopped and picked them up a happy meal and I asked him if he had a good time and replied with yes and I asked him if Dylan's friend Logan got to stay with them as well and he said, "Yep, there was 4 of us." He was sure enough right, another little boy showed up to stay the night before we all left last night. He's getting so smart

Answers about Saira...

There are a few questions about Saira. Her clothes size is 2T but I'd like 3T's so she'll have something to wear come summer time. Like shorts or capri's and short sleeve shirts. She wears a size 8 1/2 shoe, but a 9 would be great. She LOVES shoes! She's really loving her Fisher Price Little People stuff. Here's a list of what she would like to go with what she has. She has the Farm, House, Playground and Noah's Ark.

Little People® Hippos, Pandas & Alligators
Little People® Animal Sounds Zoo+
Little People® Baby Zoo Animals+
Little People® Musical Zoo Train+
Little People® Suprise Sounds Fun Park-
Little People® Parading Pals-
Little People® Musical Ferris Wheel-
Little People® Neighborhood Vehicles
Little People® Lil' Farmers Market*
Little People® Lil' Sidewalk Rider^
Little People® Baby Farm Animals*
Little People® Animal Sounds Stable*

Some of those things will complete her farm house collection with the (*). One of them will complete her Sweet Sounds Home with the (^). There is Amusment Fun Park stuff with the (-). And Zoo stuff with the (+). I think we'll pass on the My Little Pony stuff, or maybe just 1. ??

I can't decide on what time to have the party. I'm thinking 3pm like usual. And of course, on the 22nd. That's a Saturday.

Movie Critic Time

Last night we rented "Troy". That was a really great movie! I'll for sure be putting that on my buy list.

Birthday Party Time

It's time to plan a birthday party. Saira will be 2 years old on the 22nd. I think I'll have a "My Little Pony's" theme for her. She really likes them. She has 3 My Little Pony's and lots of the no name brand. I've noticed she's been keeping them gathered up in one spot of her room. And she likes to tote the brushes around. She really doesn't need any toys at all for her birthday. She got way to much stuff for Christmas. So therefore I'm going to ask everyone to either get her a pair of shoes, books and shorts or capri outfits. Today I exchanged a shirt that Santa brought her for Christmas for a Valentine's dress. It's amazing how a little girl goes crazy over clothes. ?? It really cracks me up.

Something that's on my mind...
WHY do I have to be bombarded by SOOO much spam? It's driving me crazy. I delete anywhere from 70-100 emails a day. All junk/spam email. It's been a little over a year now that I took control over the popups, but what do you do about spam?

I've been trying to get caught up on my online photo contest the last couple of days. Over the holidays I became a major slacker.

Yesterday (Thursday) was report card day for Ryan. He's doing so excellent. He has 7 or more E's and the rest are S or S+. His teacher says he's one of her best students. That sure does make you feel good as a parent to hear good comments like that.

Happy New Year

Simply amazing!! The year just flies by like a flash of light. I'd love to know how to make it slow down a little bit. Does anyone know how to??? Last night we watching Dick Clark's Rocking New Years Eve minus Dick Clark. We had my mother in law, father in law and brother in law over for chips and cheese dip. Chad fell asleep shortly after 11. Me and the kids finished watching the show, woke him up to say Happy New Years and to get our hugs and kisses. It was the sweetest thing hearing my Little Missy say, "Happy 'ew ear"!! Then the kids and I had some very yummy and tasty Welch's Sparkling Red Grape Juice. YUM-O!!!!! Saira couldn't get enough of it...LOL

Yesterday my New Years Eve neice was born. She's a precious little thing. Saira and Ryan were so in love. Her name is Shyanne Nicole or Shianne. Don't know if it's an I or a Y. She was born at 4:10pm, 8lbs and 19in.

On the 30th my brother treated Chad and I to WWE RAW. It was his first time to go and it was mine and Chad's second time to go. We all had a great time. I got to see Triple H's bare naked bootie. WooWee! They did that since it wasn't being televised.
