SHUT UP, I WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I nearly had a heart attack a few minutes ago. I received an email from Layle Koncar from Scenic Route. She was letting me know that I was randomly picked to win one of the 14 Loveland Product kits that they were giving away. What's funny, is my dear sweet bestest friend Mary(scrappineli) asked me to go leave a comment on Layle's post for the giveway. Mary said if I were to win, that we can share it, since she had me go leave a comment. LOL You know we were totally just kidding about it all, like hello, how can we win out of 584 comments. LOL Well UMMM, helloooooooooo I WON....hehe!! As SOON as I got that email, I grabbed the phone, called mary...

Mary... hello
Jayme.. OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MYYYYYYYYYYY GOSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.... GUESSSSS WHAT!!!!????!!!!
Mary... what (in a real tired voice...lol)
Jayme.. IIIIIiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii WON one of the 14 scenic route giveaways.
Mary... GET OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so anyways, her and I went crazy over it for a few minutes. She went to look at Layle's blog and OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH MY GOSH again!!!!!!!!!!!! You won't believe it, Mary won toooooooooooooo! How ironicly crazy is that!?!?!? Are we the two luckiest people in the world right now or what? LOL ;)

Daddy's getting married...

My daddy is getting married again on Tuesday. We can't be there for the exchanging of vows, since they are in Ancherage, Alaska. That's been his new home for the last 2 years I think. But since I can't be there, I figured I would make them a card. :) I'm very sad since I can't be there to give my daddy away. But I hope that soon we'll be able to go up there and visit one day soon.

I swear, it looked like Mary Poppins was about to blow in or something. It was scary. Now, it's 58 degrees out there. burrrr!!!

A Cased Card

Vicki made this card over at My Stamping Smiles and I just had to case it. I loved the quilted look. :)

Congrats for a friend

I went ahead and made the congrats card for my friend who's having a baby next month.

New Cards....

...from the card kit I got from SU last week. I'm using one of them for my moms birthday card next month(the one on the left) and I'm using one for my aunt and brother (yes, together...lol They live together). They are both sick and thought I'd send them a 'get well' card(the one of the right).

...and I still have 11 more to make from this kit. :)

She's got it!!!

Be sure to give her a hand when she's done... ;)

Saturday's Croptober Fest Layouts...

So here's what I made on Saturday. I had gotten 9 layouts completed. We had a Bingo game going on the whole time, where we had to do certain things to mark off that spot. As we did a bingo, we'd get a little something for free. The more we did, we'd get tickets for drawings. And then the more pages we did, the more tickets we'd get to put in for the grand prize drawing. So anyways, here's my layouts and I'll tell you what I added to get a bingo...LOL

this first one, I didn't do anything from the bingo.

This one of my great aunt...(LMAO, how funny is that???)...was were we needed to use the new Paisley Maker from Creative Memories. Oh and to use the Creative Memories Precision Point adhesive. So I got 2 marked off for those...LOL ...go me! :)

On this one, I used the CM abc/123 stickers. So I got to mark that off my bingo sheet. :)

I didn't use any of the bingo challenges on this one. lol But I'm not happy with the way the picture turned out. It look soooo much better in person. Especially the photo of Saira and me.

Ok, on these I used the new CM Snow Maker (punch thingy). It's on the manilla colored cardstock on the bottom right. That snow maker punches 2 different images on the paper. You'll see the other one in my other layout....

This one was a 2 for...lol One was to use the CM snow maker, which I had already done, but HELLO, this one was Christmas, so why not use that cute little Snow Flake, right?? The other was to create a layout from one that was shown on the CM Paisley Idea Sheet. So I went with what you see here, minus the paisley, since I had already done that....and that's why I went with the snow flake....LOL Did you get all that??? lol

The challenge here was to use the CM frosted photo splits. I used them to adhere my vellum phrase. I like those alot better than vellum tape. lol And by the way, that's by little baby nephew. My only nephew. Isn't he the most handsome little booger?? I was there to witness the birth. My SIL had a c-section and I was the special person to be in the room with her...(for those that didn't already know).

Aren't I just tooooo gorgeous? lmao!

And this one is the kiddies from the Valentine's Day party in February. I just love these pics of them. And I used the paisley punch again.... :)

There were many more things to do on the bingo sheet, like refil our tape runner, that wasn't very hard...LOL Umm, what else? Oh, like get up and look at some of the things displayed on the tables, introduce yourself to someone you haven't met yet and some other things. :) But anyways, those are my pages. Thanks for looking at them. :) And hopefully you clicked on them to see them UP CLOSE and personal...lol!! ;)

Great Crop!!

Yesterday I had gone to an all day crop with my friend Kim. It was from 3pm-12am. I was able to get 9 layouts completed. I could've gotten probably 2 or 3 more done if I didn't have to stop to eat dinner and go take a break with Kim. It was sooooo much fun. I can't wait to go to another crop. That was my first crop to attend. There were about 30 people there. The only crops I've been to were the ones with 3 or 4 people tops. I'll have pics to share later. :) I'm still tired and wore out. LOL

Shower Gift...

My friend who's having the baby shower, is decorating the babies room in red, white and blue. So while I was at Hobby Lobby yesterday I found this cute little 6x6 shadow box. I thought I could decorate it up as a gift. So I went to the paper isle and got some nice papers. Then I got ribbon. My friend Jana found the cute little doll embellishment and the jumbo letter brads. That's the babies initials. :) Then we found the star brads. I had at home the red bandana ribbon and the Freedom/Liberty/4th of July stickers that I used on the bottom right of it. I wove the ribbon around the basket, got that on sale as well, for $1 and some change. woohoo! :)

oh oh, I also got the shadow box on sale for like $4 and some change. It was $8. :)
