Catch Up Time!

Wow, it's been a week and 4 days since I blogged. So here goes... LOL....

Where did I leave off?

Ah, yes, the kids Spring Break. So I took them to my moms on Wednesday afternoon. We got to her house and we loaded up and went to McDonald's for lunch(Saira's request). Then we went to Palais Royal and got their Easter clothes and shoes. Then went next door to Old Navy. She got me one of those striped skirts and the shirt to go with it. Love it, it's so comfy! She got the kids some more clothes and then we went to Marble Slab for ice cream. Then off to the grocery store. We all got coffee at Starbucks inside the store and then headed back to her house. They started a movie and I headed back home. I didn't get here until 7pm...LOL It was fun hanging out with them for the day. Then the next day the packed up and went over to my great aunts house. She took them to see Doogal. Ryan enjoyed it, Saira fell asleep. LOL They went and played at the park in her neighborhood a couple of times. And on Friday I went and picked them up at her house. But on Thursday I had a candle show. Also had to do the shopping. So I didn't get to enjoy the day without the kids.

Ryan lost his 7th tooth the other day. And the tooth fairy came for a visit. :)

Saira said something really cute the other night. Chad was telling her stories. It had something to do about her. The stories always do...LOL He had said, "There was this little girl and her name was Saira." And she'll say, "Oooohhh, MYYYYY name is Saira tooooo!" And he said, "And she had a fish named Nemo." She said, "Oooohhh, meeee too!!! But him's died". And he said, "Awwww, yeah, he went to fishie heaven" And she says, "Noooo, he went to the trashcan!"

haaaaaaaaaaa! It still cracks me up!!!

Well, I know it wasn't much of an update, but that's about all I've got. I've just been doing LOTS of shopping with my friend. Oh, and watching lots of TV. I've been taking a computer break...kinda sorta...hmm, not really...LOL But I've managed to watch more tv. I've been watching lots of movies on tv. :)

Oh, and Ryan got his Harry Potter movie. We all liked it alot. If only Saira would've been more quiet...LOL

A good weekend

Chad did alot with the kids this weekend. He promised to take Ryan up to the baseball field both days and to take the kids fishing. So Saturday we got up and come evening we finally all went up to the baseball field and did some practicing. Ryan can already hit the balls being pitched to him. To hell with t-ball and pitching machine, my boy is just gonna move right on up to regular pitching and then to Pro. hehe! ;) We didn't make it to the fishing hole. But we did lots of fun family stuff at home.

Sunday I got up, got dressed and went to Super Wal-Mart with my coffee drinking buddy. We spent the afternoon at that place. Chad took the kids up to the baseball field and Chad said he did awesome ago. He's working on him at 1st base. His coach can't decide if he wants Ryan at the pitchers mound or 1st base. The pitcher doesn't pitch in t-ball though. They just run people out basicly. (for those that don't know much about t-ball). Then they finally went fishing. Saira hasn't been fishing since last spring. So Chad had to show her. They were fishing with artifical bait. The kids fish with minnows though. Chad said Saira was casting her pole perfectly. I'm so proud of her!! So the kids had a great time. Next weekend we're all going to go. And this time we'll have minnows. :)

Two more days til my kids go on their 'vacation'. LOL They are so excited about it. All they have talked about is staying the night with MeMe and Bettie Anne.

Oh and thank you JC for the comment on my new pic. :)

Officially Spring Break

As of yesterday at 12pm Spring Break began. My mom has asked for the kids to come stay the night with her sometime next week and then with my aunt. The kids are soooooo excited. I think I shouldn't have told them about it until Tuesday or so...LOL They'll go to the movies, to the park and to Starbucks. LOL My kids are so spoiled already. Everytime I go to Starbucks, I will get them a frappuccino. I told Saira she'll be going to stay with MeMe next week and she said, "And get Starbucks toooooooo?" LOL Ryan wants to see 'Doogal' at the movies. That looks like a cute one. And if he is good during Spring Break I'll buy him the 4th Harry Potter movie. It comes out on Tuesday.

Ryan started T-Ball practice. His team is called the Braves. I know my brother will be so excited to hear that, since his all time favorite team is the Braves. :)

Well, you all have a great weekend. :)

Saira got movies

I got Ryan off to school and then Saira and I got ready and went to Best Buy. She spent her $50 gift card that my mom gave her for her birthday. We saved it so that she could get Lady and the Tramp. So we got that, SharkTales and Caliou. She's watched them all but SharkTales...lol We stopped at Starbucks to get some Frappucino's. Then we got hamburgers at DQ. I stopped at a store to look at capri's. Didn't buy any though. :) We headed home and that's been it. We got Ryan from school. And I've been doing partylite stuff. It will be time to fix dinner in a little bit. Tonight is American Idol, so I'll be watching that. :)

I had a busy day, but that's all to it in a nut shell...LOL

A Nice Weekend

Saira spent the night with her MeMaw and PePaw last night. Actually she was staying the night with her cousin, Shyanne. Saira calls her "Hy-anne" LOL Saira can't say the 's' sound. She's my 1 year old niece. She's cute as a button and is always wanting to go home with me...LOL One day soon I'll bring her home with me, but not just yet...LOL

We got up this morning and headed over to Chad's mom and dad's to pick up Saira. We stayed their for a couple of hours and visited. We came back home and ate pizza for lunch. Chad took a nap and I watched my movie, 'In Her Shoes'. I'm not done with it just yet. After I'm done blogging I'm going to finish it. :) At 3pm we all got ready to go over to a friend of Chad's. He made a brisket, beans and tator salad. This mans wife passed away last year so when ever he invites us over we try to go visit him. :) One good thing is that this man CAN COOOOOOOK! I love his food!! Then after we ate, we went over to the deer lease so Chad and Ryan could shoot their guns. Geeee, that was way to much fun for me....lmao!!! Can't wait for next time. (can you since my sarcasm) :) :) :)

Sad week

On Monday Saira, Nina and I went to Best Buy to buy my printer/scanner/copier after we dropped her truck off at the shop. While we were in the store my aunt calls to tell my that another aunt of mine had passed away. Last week she was diagnosed with cancer of the esophogus(sp). And was told she had about 3 weeks. She opted for no help or medicine. Since she was 78 (I think). She was in her late 70's. We think she was just ready to go. Her husband, my grandma and great aunts brother, passed away from cancer back in '92. I heard the year he passed away the other day and couldn't believe it had been that long. :( His birthday is St. Patty's day. :) I'll always remember his birthday. But anyways, I haven't stayed in contact with that part of my family in years. We all just kinda grew apart. But I remember as a kid always going to Aunt Hazel and Uncle Bubba's house. They had a juke box in their house and I'd always pick "Just a Swing'n" from John Anderson over and over again. lol But now that him, her and my grandparents are gone, all that's left is my great aunt, Bettie Anne. When ever I would talk about my aunt in the past, she's the one I would be refering too. Bettie Anne does alot for the family. She's the one who bought Saira her Disney Princess TV for Christmas. :)

But anyways, I've been real down this week. Thinking about family and all that. Also, it's been 3 years that my grandpa's been gone. He passed away day before Saira was 1 month old. So it was a very emotional time for me then.

So on Wednesday was the funeral. I went to Pasadena for the funeral and then Bettie Anne and I went up to central Texas to a town called Mexia for the gravesite service. It was a 3 hour trip up there. We left Pasadena at 12pm and got there at 3pm. Service didn't start until 4pm. LOL So we sat and talked. :) Then it was a short and sweet little service done by one of Aunt Hazel's sons. Then we stopped at the local Radio Shack so I could get a car charger...LOL My cell phone was almost dead. So I didn't get home until 10:15pm

Wow, it's been awhile!

I have alot to update on....

First, about Ryan's Valentine's party. It went really well. I was very happy with how it turned out. We had soooo much food.

Friday we received out Income Tax Return. Sooooo, we've been shopping. :) Chad bought his first pistol. He's soooo excited. I got a new digital camera. Still need to get a memory stix for it. And I'm also getting a new printer combo 3 in 1 thing. I also spent $120 something at my MaryKay party last night. My face is good to go for awhile...LOL The kids got new bikes. They are so excited about those as well.

Chad took me out to eat Friday night. Just the two of us. It was really nice going out alone. The kids were staying the night with his parents.

So back to my MaryKay party last night. Saira participated in the fun. She had her own makeup station. My friend gave her red lipstick. And later she got black eyeshadow...LOL She looked so freak'n cute! This morning I explained to her that she's not allowed to have that kind anymore. It was only for the special party. And she was fine with that. And so here's a pic of her....

I'm exhausted from my weekend. So I'm headed to bed.

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly!

That is how I discribe my day!

The day started off really GREAT!!! Best Friend Nina comes and picks Saira and I up and we head to town. We were taking her truck to get a front end allignment. But that didn't happen, had to get an appointment until Saturday morning. That's alright, we decided we needed to go to Wal-Mart. We don't really know why we went, but do people who go to Wal-Mart like every other day need a reason for going? HEHE! That would be us, we live at Wal-Mart. So anyways, Nina hears a man laugh. It was Chad walking by. I guess I could've mentioned that he didn't make it to work this morning. He had a blowout and had to wait on getting it fixed. So him and his buddy were roaming Wal-Mart. He spots me and we had a fun time picking out a box of chocolates for me. Gotta tell ya, I'm probably the most pickiest person when it comes to boxed chocolates. I don't go for the el' cheapo kinds. It's gotta be either Whitman's or Russell Stover's. OR!!! Hershey's Pot of Gold! Looooove that stuff. So he learned a long time ago not to buy the cheap junk. It will just sit there for month to come. Then he goes and picks out a card for me. We shuffled around the clothing department and didn't find anything I liked. So we buy out stuff we gathered... :) Then Nina, Saira and I go to our favorite all time local Mexican food place. MMmmmm!! Chad and his buddy headed on home because they already ate. Nina and I had more shopping left in us. :) We go to PayLess, didn't find anything. We go to Cato's! BINGO!! I find a 3 piece outfit I just had to have. I call up Chad and tell him I found something I liked and he told me to get it. It was just $55. I did good. :) So I got an outfit, chocolates and a card. hehe!

After I picked Ryan up from school we all got ready to go take Family Pictures. What a freakiing JOKE that was. I've already told Java all about it. I almost don't even want to talk about it anymore. BUT... It's part of my day. So here comes the bad... The kids were complete morons! It really wasn't their fault. There was a woman with a kid who all the sudden decided they wanted to take pictures. My picture lady said no one has been in today, and when I showed up, this other woman shows up. We have not done pictures in a year. ...well, actually we haven't taken family pictures since Saira was 4 MONTHS OLD! She hasn't taken pictures since her 2nd birthday. It's been a year. She was ALL excited! That womans child kept distracting my kids. I was pissed off. I was planning on spending over $100, like we always do with family pictures. Because we get a group shot, a couple shot, dad with kids, mom with kids and the kids together. We left with only a group shot. I cried on the way home. I had been looking forward to having new pictures for my walls for a very long time. My children ended up getting in trouble over it. I know you all might think I'm crazy or something, but I take picture taking seriously. That's why I got so mad over this STUPID woman. My picture lady had them leave, but they came RIGHT back. It just wasn't working.... ANYWHO! Enough of all that. :)

I got a new outfit... did I tell ya that? :) LMAO

Hmm, I suppose that's it. I'll be back with new stuff tomorrow. Ryan has his Valentine's Party. I can't wait to see how it goes. I'm in charge of it ya know. So it's bound to be a big hit. hehe!!!

Haaa, got it anyways!

Gonna reverse my day here on ya....LOL

I got Starbucks tonight, he can kiss my big fat butt! Nanny nanny boo boo!! LMAO

But anyways, the kids and I went to Houston to visit my mom. The kids needed some time with their Meme. On the way there I stopped at the video store and rented 'Phantom of the Opera'. She hadn't seen it on dvd yet. It was awesome watching it again, especially at her house...for 2 reasons. 1st is because her and I LOOOOVE that movie. I wish we could see it live sometime!! 2nd is because she has surround sound. AWESOME AWESOME!!!!! The kids watched Bambi 2 and Madagascar. She had pizza, tuna subs, fries and onion rings delievered for us. :) Then they had ice cream. :) After all that we went to my aunts house to visit with her for a few minutes and that's when we went to Starbucks. The kids were soooo excited. And after all this time I finally remembered to tell them no cream on Saira's. She was glad of that. She's so weird, doesn't like cream on hers. Strang child in deed.

I got home at 8pm, got on the confrence call for PartyLite training, did that for 20 minutes and then watched the Snowboarding and Speed skating on the Olympics with Chad. :)

Now I'm ready for bed. :) Nighty night folks!

Family Time

Today we took the kids to the movies. We originally planned on seeing 'Curious George'. Then we changed our minds to 'Nanny McPhee'. But nope, we did it again, changed our minds to see 'Hoodwinked'. It was cute I must say. The kids had a great time. Then we took the kids upstairs at the play area to ride the big carousel. We did that twice. And for lunch the kids wanted pizza from the food court, so they got that as well. Ryan wanted to play some of the games at the arcade room, so Saira and grabbed some cookies to take home and went to Bath and Body Works, so I could grab a 'Wall Flower'. Those things are soooo awesome! I wish PartyLite would make a plug in :) To match the candles we love to burn. Wouldn't that be nice? And I also wish they made car fresheners. That would be cool too.

So we had a great time at the Mall. Then the kids got me all thirsty for Starbucks. Saira started asking Chad if we could go. He kept ignoring her...LOL He finally said NO. I was ticked! LOL The kids had me all ready for it. MEN, UGH!!

So he stops at the gas station on the way home and gets himself and Ryan a Yoohoo and me a Starbucks drink in the glass jars. I was like, geee thanks...LOL But I drank it was actually alright with it :)

On our way home we decided to stop at Chad's mom and dad's so the kids could visit with their MeMaw and PePaw. Stayed there til 8pm...lol I got home and fell asleep around 9pm. I was pooped!

It was a GREAT DAY!! Minus the Starbucks situation. I think he's in trouble... ;)

Bookfair time

Wooooo Wooooo, it's book fair time at Ryan's school. Last year I had soooo much fun helping with it. So this year I decided I must do it again. Last year I just helped the kids, but this year I'm doing the cash register.

For lunch I went over to my friends house and bummed some food from her, cause I didn't feel like going home. So Saira and I ate and then went back to the school. When I got back Ryan had already been to the bookfair and picked out 4 books. 1 was $10. I was wanting to get 2 for him and 2 for her. So that wasn't going to work, with what he picked out...lol So I made it up to him in buying a suprise poster for him. It was a Texas Longhorns poster. He was tickled to death. I told him that MAYBE he can get another at the end of the week.

Last night I wrote up a letter for the teacher to hand out to the parents. I'm incharge of the Valentine's Day party. Right after school was out, I already had a parent to call and let me know what she wanted to bring. She had first dibs. :) Suprised my neighbor hasn't called. Her son is in Ryan's class. Ya'll remember her, the one who potty trained Saira...lol But anyways I hope I get a good response from all the parents. There is only 10 of us. At the begining of school, there was 15 kids. 5 have left...thank goodness, there were WAY to many boys in that classroom. Still is, but it's not as bad. There were 4 girls and 11 boys. Crazy huh? Now there are 7 boys and 3 girls.

Got me all razzed

A friend of mines blog entry has me all razzled... check it out.
clutteredlife.com: Wheeze.

This crap has always been my number one all time pet peeve. It's ridiculous how rude smokers can be. I have a friend that doesn't come to visit me cause my house is smoke free and she doesn't care to go outside all the time to go smoking. Oh well, that's her own problem. I'm talking of my friend that I visit daily, drink coffee with, play cards or play pool with.

Thursday Thirteen....

Thirteen Things about my day

1. Woke up at 4am. UGH! Totally sucks! Couldn't go back to sleep cause of Saira.

2. Spent a small amount of time with my sweet hubby before he headed off to work. (That NEVER happens, cause I'm SNOOZE'n...hehe)

3. Got Ryan off to school, but today, his grandpa came and picked him up and took him, by Ryan's request. So I didn't have to take him to the bus! :)

4. Had a nice long shower. Helped me to wake up, but not for long...lol

5. Luckily in my mailbox was our last W-2 we were waiting on because we had an appointment with our CPA to get our taxes prepared. We be rich now...lol :) It actually helped us that I had my candle business. :) YAY! Gonna get me a new camera, printer and clothes with my part. AFTER we pay our property taxes, house insurance and I think that's it. :) I'm excited! We got back lots! CPA's ROCK!! To hell with H&R Block anymore...lol

6. I had lunch with my sweet huband and daughter. But now I'm miserable, I'm stuffed!! Don't think I want any dinner...lol

I finally came to a conclusion

Last night I finally decided on the main reason why I don't want anymore children. It's not the fact that my children drive me nuts....lol It's not because I have a boy and a girl, which is perfect already. It's not because I'll be 30 years old this year or anything like that. It's something that just makes me want to cry and breaks my heart. It's because my grandparents are no longer here in person anymore. Both of my grandparents were here when I had Ryan. But my grandma passed away when Ryan was 13 1/2 months old. He decided to walk at the wake of her funeral. It was really special. But she helped my grandpa make LOTS of quilts for Ryan. Yes, my grandpa made quilts. My grandma taught him. And he so loved doing it. Well... (this is where I want to cry)! He was only able to make Saira one quilt, before he passed away. And it's the most special item in my house, for sure. He passed away a month after she was born. And ..........(omg, I just realized as I was typing, that he will have been gone 3 years at the end of Feb.) But anyways, I couldn't possibly have another baby, he/she wouldn't have a quilt that was made from my grandpa.

This is the quilt he made her.

I think I'll go nuts...

You can find me at the local nut ward!!

My children are driving me nuts! Just ask JavaMama! She can tell you. Today, I'm talking with JavaMama on the phone. It's just me and Saira here, Ryan's at school and Chad's at work. My house is just terrible. Messes everywhere!! Especially Saira's room, oh dear God, don't get me started on her room. So I told her she needs to clean her room. She's doing everything she can, not to do it. I finally told her like it is and I think she's cleaning it finally. With the want of a hug and kiss here and there. I told her I don't want any hugs and kisses until her room is clean. I'm being the mean mommy today. Just tired of all this crap.

Yesterday was really bad. I was on the edge. I warned Chad when he got home though, so he didn't bother me that much. He could tell I had a terrible day.

So to start my day off, I have this retarded ass collection agency calling me at least 10 freaking times a day, NO LIE! Not even exaggerating!! They don't leave a message on the machine either. Thanks to JavaMama, she's helped me figure out who the fraudulant people are. I've had 3...maybe 4 phone calls from them already today and it's not even 11:30am yet. UGH! They can kiss my butt for all I care...lmao!

So, can you tell I'm in a pissy mood today? LMAO!!

Had Fun

Well, we went over to Chad's best friends house for his birthday party. We had an awesome time. We all hung outside in the shop, played pool, did kariokee (after I got drunk enough...lol). There was about 30 people there. With alot that we didn't know...lol We, meaning Jennifer, Brandon, me and Chad. Jennifer had to finally go tell those people to leave...LOL It was crazy. Brandon's cake was a boobie cake...lol We stayed til about 1:45am and came home. The kids stayed the night at Chad's mom and dads. Chad was drunk as a skunk, and I was buzz'n. I had 5 smirnoffs. And dont'cha know, everyone kept picking with me all night asking me if I wanted some GoldSlogger. I was about to start back slapping some people, it was getting on my nerves. UGH!

Today was my best friends birthday. She turned the big 3-7...lol Thursday the kids and I went shopping and we went ahead and bought her a little gift and cards. The kids had so much fun. They wanted to get her everything they saw. They love her so much. She's the one that got Saira her Build-A-Bear last weekend. But anyways, this morning Chad picked the kids up and I got dressed. Then Saira and I went to her house and gave her birthday presents to her, hung out for about an hour and we came home for lunch. Later this afternoon she came and picked me up and we went to Wal-Mart. Got me a new pair of flip flops. I'm looking forward to the Spring so I can ALWAYS were my flip flops. Seems we can do that now, but in the mornings it's on the cold/chilly side and by the afternoon its warmed up, sometimes!!

Well, I hope you all had a good weekend. :)

Where am I?

I'm here now! Sorry I haven't posted lately...LOL I've been candle'ing it all week. My dear best friend here in town who joined PartyLite back in Aug is finally trying to make something of it and she had a $400 show on Monday and got it closed today. So I've been busy "sponsoring" her and coaching here in being a consultant. At the same time I've been working on 2 candle shows of my own, tracking my own show. BTW ladies, my stuff will be here on the 1st. YAY!

Ok, so what else? Hmm, nothing. I have a candle show, but it will probably be posponed due to the rain that's coming. But that's alright. :) Anyone that wants to make a candle order can place it with JavaMama...hehe! ...she's doing a catalog show for me.

I'm looking forward to the weekend. I've been so tired this week. Me and my friend have both been so tired...with this 'dieting' thing we're doing. But tomorrow night Chad and I will be going out. His best friends birthday is like the first week in Feb. (can't remember when it is) So they are having a get together at his house with BBQ and beer tomorrow night. So I can't wait. His wife said she wants Chad to finally get tore up with Brandon (his bestfriend). I was like, yeah right not Chad. He won't do it anymore. So she said I get the honor of getting tore up with Brandon. Since she know I can and probably will. I told her NOOO way, not again. New Years was good enough for me. I don't want to be sick again like that. UGH! YUCK!

So anyways, LOL

Java, dear, I hope you have a great day at your baby shower. I totally wish I could be there with you. :) Eat a piece of cake for me, ok?

Another year older

Saira turned 3 years old today.

She had such an extremly great day! She got dressed this morning and put her crown on. But decided she was cold. So she layed on the couch, covered up....

So her presents started off with her gift from my best friend here in town. She went to Build-A-Bear and got Saira the pink poodle. Her name is Sophie. She picked that name out for a reason too. Saira can't say her S's, she changes it to H. So she knew Saira would say it like "Ho-fee". And she DID! It was too darn cute! When Saira says her own name it comes out like "Haira". But anyways, Saira just LOOOOVED Sophie. My friend told her the whole story about her building it, and putting a heard inside it and kissing it. She told Saira about a tag inside Sophie, where just incase she gets lost, Sophie can be returned to her owner. Saira was just beaming with love of her new Sophie....

Her Hair Cut

I had Saira's haircut today. I wanted it done for her birthday on Sunday. Her hair was really long, different layers, and so thin looking. I had it cut above her shoulders and OMG!!! It's so freaking adorable! I totally love it. And she's inlove with her hair. I'll be honest, I was really indecisive with doing it. But I'm so glad I did it. Chad didn't notice the back was cut, until later. He thought her bangs and front were cut...LOL But he totally loves it.

My dear friend Java...

I sure hope you feel better soon. I've missed chatting with you on the phone and on the computer, as much as we normally would. Just know that I've thought about you for the past 2 days. And hopefully you'll get relief on Thursday. :) Tons of hugs all the way from your friend in Texas! :)

Mommy need a rock?

The sweetest, most cutest thing happened earlier this afternoon. Saira and Ryan were outside playing while Chad and his friend were cleaning up the chrome and tires after washing the truck earlier. So Saira comes back in and pulls something out of her pocket and says, "some'pin for you mommmy!"....it was a rock. But she digs in her pocket again and says, "some'pin for you!....some'pin for you!....some'pin for you.... OVER and OVER again... she's pulled out about 5 rocks by now. I'm like, "awww, that's soooo sweet Saira!!" and she says, "hummm! MOMMY, DON'T LOOOOOOOOOK!". So I turned my head and she pulls out more rocks... And yes, her pants were about to fall off... FUNNY FUNNY! But anyways, she continues on... "some'pin for you...some'pin for you...some'pin for ME!...some'pin for ME! So I have a lovely little pile of rocks on my desk. HEHE about 40 rocks... some are real litte and some are bigger.

....here's a pic....

Busy Weekend

Boy, was I busy! I had a candle show on both days this weekend.

Still haven't gotten my tree put away, just like my good ol' pal JavaMama. Perhaps I'm just trying to help her out in being a friend, and keeping my tree up too. Yeah, that's it. I'm being a friend. Ok Java, we HAVE to take our trees down tomorrow. OK?!?! I say this, cause Chad is ready to help me take it down tomorrow. He's tired of it as well. I'll send him over to help you when we're done, how's that? hehe ;)

Much better

I'm feeling so much better. I was all of the sudden over it after a 4 hour nap yesterday, when I woke up at about 4:30pm. I won't be doing that again. It was only my second time to be totally wasted like that.

OMG, I'm so ashamed of myself though, my tree is STILL up. UGH, it's driving me insane. I can't stand to look at it anymore...LOL I hope before the night is over that it will all be put away. :)

Happy New Year

Hope you all had a good one. :)

Mine was pukey...literally...LOL I drank WAAAAAAAY to much! The GlodSlogger did me in. It's 5:35pm and when I think about it, it still makes me queezy. But I had a great time before it all hit me. Me and Chad brought in the New Years together at the toilet...lol I drank Smirnoff, buttery nipples and glodslogger. It was the first time Chad had to help me. I'm always helping him. With alot of Chad's help we mangaged to get New Years lunch made. And I finally got to eat some of it at 5pm tonight. lol And I must say he did a fine job on cooking the blackeyed peas. mmm mmm mmm!!

So, the way I'm thinking is that my year will HAVE to be better than today...HEHE!

cleaning day

Today I cleaned like there was no tomorrow. Just don't go in my laundry room...lmao!

My real dad, step mom, brother, my grandma and her husband come down today, to see my house finally. That's why it was a cleaning day...lol We all had a great visit. I saw them Monday over at my aunts house and we agreed on today would be the day they came over to see me. Saira entertained us for the afternoon.

So now I have a really clean house. :) Finally got all that Christmas present stuff put up. Now I can finally put away my tree and decorations. I left my house decorated so my family could see it all. I honestly don't feel like putting it all away though. I hate putting things away...lol

Cute

I was thumbing through the pictures I've taken over the holidays and found this one of Saira. This was Christmas Eve at my aunts house. She was sooooooo excited about opening presents. And that's her pile and there's more around her...lol

Busy busy

I've been so busy. Monday we had another Christmas gathering with the other side of my family. It was so much fun watching my cousin open her blanket and her puppy dogs blanket. She was beyond excited about it.

Now my real dad, his wife, my grandma and her husband are coming to my house tomorrow and my house still isn't in order. There is Christmas stuff everywhere. And it's their first time to come to this house. I have so much to do. UGH!

Merry Christmas

I hope you all are having a wonderful Christmas!

Santa ate all the cookies that were left last night and must've liked the chocolate milk, he drank it all too. Saira wasn't really interested in what Santa brought her. She's not feeling well. She's ended up with what Ryan had a few weeks ago. Ryan went bonkers over the BB Gun that Santa brought. I'll post a picture of them later. But it was a good Christmas morning with the kids. We put the ham onto cook and then I made sweet potatoes with marshmellows to take to Chad's uncles house who lives next door. We had lunch over there and the kids got a few more presents from their aunts and uncles.

It sure has been a busy Christmas. Tomorrow we go to Houston to my aunts house and have Christmas with that part of my family....my real dads family. I have 2 more blankets to whip up before 4pm tomorrow. That will be no problem. :)

Merry Christmas everyone... enjoy what's left, it's almost over.

Santa Claus is coming.....to town!

YAY! I'm so excited, I can't stand it! (oh and I hope you make it through the list of goodies we've gotten.)

We got up at 7am and prepared a Christmas Eve breakfast and had his mom, dad, brother, sister and niece over. I fixed pancakes, biscuits, eggs, sausge, bacon, coffee, orange juice and milk. Then we opened presents.

My mother in law gave me a bath set that I wanted and my sister in law gave me some bubblebath. They gave Ryan a remote control truck and Saira a Cinderella doll with a change of clothes, the dress lights up and the shoes too. They gave Chad a box of chocolate covered cherries, Aspen cologne and socks.

Chad gave me a new chain for my mothers charm. OMG, it was $150. He also gave me a watch, it's sooo pretty. It's a Relic. I gave him a new shower head for the shower, Polo Blue cologne, a shirt from Big and Tall and I made him a blanket. I made both the kids a blanket and we gave them a few outfits so they could have something to open this morning.

So then after we cleaned up, we went to my great aunts house. My mom and her boyfriend were already there. And lunch was ready. I was upset, I was suppose to help my aunt, but she got it all done. We weren't going to eat until 3pm too, but we ate at 1'ish.

The kids passed out presents with the help of my brother. The kids had such a good time doing that.

My mom got me a filing cabinet. To file all her PartyLite orders...LOL ;) And she got me this really pretty sweater from OldNavy, now we're just waiting for a cold spell around here...LOL Oooo, and she gave me the perfume I wanted. Miracle, So Magic by Lancome...Mmmmm smells gooooood. And she gave me a $20 gift card to StarBucks...she's the bestest! And she got the cutest little thing, a thermometer from Avon, it's called Snowy Days, it's so darn cute!!! It has snowmen on it. Cute cute cute!! She gave Saira a whole bunch of cute clothes from OldNavy. She got Ryan the fishies for his fishtank earlier this month and she gave him some clothes. Chad got an outfit from the Big and Tall store...a $100 outfit.

My brother got me StarWars 3, it was on my wish list...hehe! LOOOOVE StarWars!! He got Saira Mary Poppins on DVD and Ryan Polar Express on DVD and I think he got Chad Cinderella Man on DVD. So we all got a movie from him. Saira watched hers as she went to sleep last night. CUTE!

My moms boyfriend gave everyone a $20 giftcard to Best Buy. We can't wait to go. I believe we're all going to get a movie each.

And my aunt got me a new set of Rubbermaid. I was in dier need of them. Got some folder stuff for my filing cabinet and a label maker, to make little labels for folders and whatever else. I got this nifty thing called a Cocoa-Latte. It makes all kinds of hot beverages. And she got me the Betty Crocker Bake'n Fill bake set. It makes those dome cakes, like you see on TV. So she got Ryan a PlayStation2 for his bedroom and a game. A couple of movies. And she got Saira the Dinsey Princess TV and matching DVD player.

There are more gifts I'm sure, but I can't recall them at the moment, but I think I'm pretty close at getting all of it, by 1 or 2 items. :)

We got home tonight and I hooked up her tv and dvd player, awww, it's so cute and pretty! She went to sleep watching her Mary Poppins movie.

Gotta run, the kids have their gingerbread men, girls and trees on the plate for Santa. They made chocolate milk for him this time. And now it's time for all little boys and girls to go to bed...

Merry Christmas everyone!!

Story of Santa and update on my blankets

So on Wednesday, my dad calls needing a ride to the AMVET's. He's been asked to be Santa for a family in need. The AMVET's put together several big boxes of food for the family and toys for the 3 kids. And my dad played Santa, dressed up and all, it was his first time ever...lol But it sure was cute!! Well, he wanted us to go so the kids could see 'Santa' too. Now, I don't know if you all recall, but Miss Saira is not all that keen about Santa. He's a stranger and she doesn't like strangers...lol So I never thought she'd talk to him or sit on his lap. Well, don't you know she was all excited this time, talked to him and even ran up and sat in his lap. Perhaps she could feel the vibe that he wasn't such a stranger or something. It was great. Nearly wanted to cry but I couldn't get over the funniness of him being Santa. It still cracks me up. But she didn't want to sit on Santa's lap a few weeks ago when Santa was at school. (not my dad...lol) She didn't scream or anything, she just didn't want on his lap, so I was proud that she got on his lap this time. ;) I got pictures, but it's not a 'professional' kinda scene. It was at the AMVET's, so excuse their mess...lol

Now, about the blankets. I've gotten all of them done but 2. They don't need to be ready until Monday anyways. I'm a blanket making fool now. LOL Oh, actually it's 2 1/2 blankets. Not even 1/2...lol It's for my cousins puppy dog. To match the one I'm making her.

New Computer

Yesterday I got my moms computer. Her boyfriend got her a new one so she gave hers to me. It's so much faster than my old one. I got it all hooked up tonight. It's great. Has double...or even more...of a hard drive than my old one. I've been adding all my links to it tonight. Got my email going, but I canNOT figure out how to get my address book added. UGH! I've never had a problem with it. Cause I've restored/reformated/cleaned up my computers alot and would add my address book with no problems. My computer was Win98 and now I've FINALLY moved up in the world to WinXP. YAY!!! How exciting is that? LOL

I'm pooped and need sleep. Will post again tomorrow... about Ryan and Saira exciting day they had today. A little hint: Santa/My Dad

Christmas Vacation

Oh yeah! It's Christmas Vacation time. The boy child will be home forever it seems. Boy did this last week suck. I didn't get to enjoy that last week of school. Cause he was home 3 days. fun fun! Actually, the kids are being ok since yesterday afternoon. I can tell they are ready to rumble though. Is it Jan. 3rd yet?

I Love PartyLite

Yay! I got the new 2006 stuff today! New scents and a new item. Got new books! It was like Christmas already! Oh no JC...they don't have Ginger Pumpkin anymore, that's the one you had before. PurpleMama, I know you are excited about the new books. I am going to be so busy in January with candle parties, I just can't wait!

I'm so excited... I just can't hide it... I love PartyLite!
(It's what we say at our meetings each month while we do raffle tickets when the numbers are being called out...lol)

Poor Baby Boy!

My baby has Scarlet Fever. He came home Friday afternoon complaining of a sore throat. 1st time ever too. Well, we did medicines and wasn't helping. So this morning I decided I'd take him to the doctor. Got him there at 2pm and the doctor tells Ryan to open up and say 'Ahhhhhhhh', and he did. And the doctor said instantly that he had strep throat with scarlet fever. Ryan has a rash on him from head to toe. He gave us a prescription for penicillin, he has to take it for 10 days.

Christmas Presents

My best friend introduced me to these really cool no-sew blankets made with fleece. Then we decided, "Hey, lets make everyone a blanket for Christmas, they aren't expensive and it's meaningful!" Here I am December 11 and have 10 blankets to make...LOL I've only made one...LOL It sucks cause this coming week I'll be pretty busy. Ryan has his Christmas play tomorrow night at the school and then again Tuesday morning. Then Wednesday is his Christmas party. Don't know what's happening on Thursday and then Friday is early out. Then he'll be home all the following week. YAY! Dont'cha just LOVE vacation time from school...LOL So if no one hears from me for awhile, come looking for me on my livingroom floor. I may be stuck there and not able to get up...LOL Due to making all these freaking blankets... ;)

Hope everyone is enjoying the Holiday Season! I sure am, cause it's actually cold here in Southeast Texas. It's usually nice and toasty on Chrismtas day.

Yay, Christmas!

This evening we went to the Christmas Parade in town. It was so neat getting to see the lights. Saira was being a horses butt, but I think she liked it. One man brought over his 2 year old shetland pony over to me and the kids and Saira didn't want to pet him. He had Christmas lights on him, it was so cute. This kids got to see Santa ride by. I was thinking Ryan was going to wave his hand and arm off of his body. He waved and waved and told everyone Merry Christmas as they went by. It was nice and cold tonight too. Me and Ryan wished we had hot chocolate at the parade.

Saira got to help me Christmas shop for my mom today. She thought that was so cool. So tomorrow we are going to wrap her gift. She's so excited about seeing Santa to take pictures. And she has it figured out as to what she's going to tell him what she wants for Christmas. She says she wants a watch, a braclet, a purse, a pink barbie gun (that one makes me laugh so hard!!), and a blanket (which I'm making).

Hope you all are ready for Christmas, just 25 more days left. Go check out my ticker at the bottom of the page. I have several different ones. :)

Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving was really good. It was the smallest gathering I've ever had. It was just us 4, my dad, great aunt and brother. None of Chad's family came over, like they were suppose to. But that's alright, we had a nice day anyways. I baked the turkey and I made macaroni and cheese, greenbeans, 2 chocolate chip cheesecakes and the cranberry sauce. My great aunt provided the rest of the dishes which were the dressing, diry rice(not cajun style...lol), augratin potatoes, sweet potatoe casserole, giblet gravy, rolls, pumpkin pie, pecan pie and white stuff. We had a great feast!!

I hope everyone had a great Turkey Day!

I'm an officer!

LOL! I was elected the Parent Volunteer Coordinator for the PTO at Ryan's school. I think his Pre-K teacher from last year had something to do with this...LOL I went to the first meeting but I didn't go to the second. The third meeting with be on the 28th when the kids go back to school after Thanksgiving. Thank God I'm not the President, Vice President, Secretary or Treasure...lol Cause I don't know anything about this PTO or even PTA stuff.

My Luck

It started off a few weeks ago. JavaMama's post in her blog reminded me about it.

I was grocery shopping and backing out of my parking spot. I was putting it in drive when a woman across from me starting backing up as well and hit my bumper. I throw it in park and look over and this crazy woman has already gotten out of her truck. She's in a little rinky dink Nisson Frontier. And me in my big ol' Dodge Ram 1500...with 20" rims...so I'm like much bigger than this woman. Luckly I didn't get any damage. But my bumper hit her tail light and broke the cover, that's it. All the lights still worked. She made me stay there while she went back in the store to get a disposable camera. So she took pics. I took pics with my cellphone....
So she demanded that we make our claims...blah blah blah. Chad laughed and thought the woman was plan stupid. We couldn't call the cops about it because it was on private property (the grocery store parking lot)

Ok, so next, which I guess is this morning. Saira and I are walking out of Wal-Mart and an old man hits us. Literaly, he bumped into my elbow. I had to jerk Saira out of the way or his tire would've run over her feet. She was holding my right hand and the man was coming from my right. So Saira was on the bad side. My elbow literaly stopped the man. My elbow is all skinned up. Saira and I are totally ok though.

Next, this evening I see a little copperhead snake by a tree in our yard right up beside the house. I had my dad stomp the hell out of it. Yay Dad, hero of the day, he killed the snake. Man, that gave me the hebee-jeebee's!! What's crazy is that thing was about an inch away from my flip-flop wearing foot. ACK! ewww! EEEK!

I guess that's it for now. I'll let ya know of anymore interesting mishaps. :)

What does Jayme need?

Thought I'd finally do this. Stolen from Blue, JavaMama and PurpleMama.

1. Jayme needs to start working. (whatever! lmao)
2. Jayme needs it. (You bet I do!)
3. Jayme needs to stay in America. (I wasn't gonna leave...lol)
4. Jayme needs human contact. (boy howdy I do!)
5. Jayme needs online adverting.
6. Jayme needs supervision. (rotf!!)
7. Jayme needs blood relatives. (I have those already??)
8. Jayme needs to file with the Feds. (Oh really?!?!?)
9. Jayme needs tenants. (I have enough...LOL)
10 Jayme needs to quit her job. (don't think the kiddos will like that, but OK...LOL)

Do a google search and type in, "(your name) Needs" to find out what your needs are...lol

Fall, yeah right!

Here it is, November the 8th and we in Southeast Texas are wearing our shorts and flipflops again...LOL It's just not right I tell ya. I need some pretty fall colored trees around me, some crisp cold air. I think I'm living in the wrong region. These HOT Novembers are getting old now. ....watch, Christmas Day I'll be in shorts again...lol Well, at least last Christmas Day....it snowed. Well, kinda sorta. We had a white ground for a few minutes. It never really stuck. It sure was nice though. Bet that won't happen again in my lifetime.

Happy Fall Everyone!

Halloween Time

Gesh! What a crappy Halloween EVER! My poor little kiddos didn't get to go trick or treating this year. Mother Nature decided we didn't need to go this year or something. She opened up a big flood in the sky just before dark. It was terrible. I had bought 4 huge bags of candy for trick or treaters. But now my kids will have to eat it all...lol At least I had some candy for them. And we dressed them up and took them to my friend Nina's house and to their grandparents house down the road and they got a little bit of candy from them.

Yay! Finally Home!

This morning we finally got electricity back, since Rita came through. I was sooooo happy that I cried for awhile. Me and the kids went grocery shopping and to Wal-Mart. We had to stock up on cleaning stuff and things for the fridge and deep freeze. We lost everything in them.

Ryan's excited, he starts back to school tomorrow. He missed his "school mates" as he calls them.

Visited home

Today the kids and I went home and visited for a little while. We took a look over around the house to see what Chad and his friends had done with the cleanup. They did a really good job. There are still alot of trees and limbs all around the yard though, but they just can't take care of all of it.

So then we went to my good friend Nina's house and visited for awhile. The kids snacked on all her "treasures" she's collected from the National Guard. lol "treasures" meaning the MRE's and other packaged meals. That's what shes called them...lol

It was nice to get out and visit like we use to. :)

The Birthday Boy!

My baby boy is now 6 years old! It's amazing how time has gone by so quickly! We had a great little party for him though. Even though we weren't at home. He was wanting his friends from school to come, but I think he understands the problem. So we got with my cousin and her 2 young boys and we had a great little party for him. It was a football theme. We did that for his 2nd birthday. My mom bought his cake and OMG, it was sooooooo good!

Happy Birthday to my little guy. :)

Damn Rita!

Look what she's done to me!

Rita came through Southeast Texas on Sept. 23rd (Chad's birthday) and 24th. What a great gal she was. She knocked out all power in the area. And she left me having to live with family. Cause in Sept. it's way to hot to live without electricity. I'm so thankful that she didn't do any damage to my home though. I just wish I could go back home and live once again.

No more rain!

Saira thinks we don't need anymore rain I guess. A minute ago she hears it thunder and she blurts out....

"Rain rain gooooo away! Rain rain goooo away!! Rain rain goooo away!!!"

She was singing the song but she didn't know the other part of it...LOL

My night out

Saturday night I went out with my husbands best friends wife. We brought her brother in law and his best friend with us. We had a blast. Chad, his best friend, his cousin, a friend and another close friend went to his other cousins house to watch the Texas vs Ohio State game that came on last night. They also played a college tournament on PS2 before the real game. But anyways, we went to a mens club. The guys had VIP cards and they got in free, but me and Jennifer got in free cause it was girls night. woohoo! LOL It was rather boring and drinks were to expensive so we didn't stay all that long. Then we headed over to a dance hall. After the guys were finished watching the game they came and joined us. I was already toasted by the time Chad got there...LOL But we had such a blast. It's nice to get out without kids sometimes. :) :)

Wonder whats in the works for next weekend? I know we'll be doing something cause our 8 year Anniversary is on Tues. the 20th.

Ryan's 1st Football Game

That was TOO DARN CUTE! I've seen a few Pee-Wee football games, cause my little brother in law was on the Pee-Wee team the last 2 or 3 years. But I paid more attention this time cause my Ryno Man was playing. Ryan is one of the starting players so he got to play alot. His team lost their first game though, but that's alright. That doesn't matter. Those boys had so much fun tackling the other team, rather than each other. Cause during practice that's what they do is practice tackling on each other. LOL I can't wait for next Saturdays game!

Strong Willed Little Girl

OMG ya'll! I am so extremly proud of Saira tonight. Tonight was the rival football game between my highschool and Chad's highschool at my school. So I put a pullup on Saira knowing she wouldn't be able to make it through the game or whatever. After halftime she starts telling me, "MOMMMMMMY, I need to peeeeeee-peeeeeee!"....over and over again. I would've jumped up and taken her, but HELLO the restroom was clear across the other side of the field. UGH! I actually told her that it was ok, cause she had a pullup on. I still didn't think she'd make it, ya know. Well, a good 5 minutes goes by and she's still telling me. I told her the restroom was way over on the other side and pointed it out. So she kept telling me, "Mommy, I need to peeeeee-peeeeeee...over dare!!!". I couldn't take it anymore, I figured what the heck, lets give it a try. I still didn't think she'd make it over there though. We get there, have to wait in line for maybe a minute and a half. You know, that's a long time for a potty training kid. I said, "I just know your pullup is wet."

Don't you know....she proved me WRONG! GOOOO SAIRA!!! I was so excited. I don't know who was cheering more, me for Saira or the cheerleaders for the football team...LOL

Oh! And then after she ate some dinner when we got home, I had her get on the potty again and she went. Man, everyone needs a neighbor lady like I have to get their kids potty trained...LOL

Such a Big Girl!

What a day! My little girl didn't act very little today. She had her little friend come over to play this morning. And little friends mama told Saira she needed to wear panties instead of her pullups. So don'cha know, Saira goes to her room, puts on panties and comes back to us and says, "Dare! I put my pannies on." About an hour later the little friend needed to go potty. So Saira, the little girl and her mama all go to the bathroom. The little girl pee pee's and then Saira says she needs to go. And she DID. AWWW, her pee pee'd on the potty! She's pee pee'd on the potty a few times before, but this time was different. So anyways, she went next door with the lady and her little friend. They even took a nap all together...lol She never would pee pee while she was there though. While they were gone, I went to Wal-Mart and McDonald's with a friend of mine. It was so nice being kidless. I get back home and call Saira to let her know I was home and they all came over. Then we all went to the school to pick up our boys. Her son is in Ryan's class. We get back home and Saira finally has to pee pee again and she did it on the potty...awwww! BIG GIRL! All this potty stuff was the neighbor lady's doing. :) Well, she finally had her accident tonight. I kept asking her if she needed to go poo poo, and she kept saying "noooooo" everytime. But I had to go get dinner cooked and don't you know, she went to her room and pooped in her panties...darnit! Oh well though, she did good with pee pee'ing.

Ok, so tonight, came bath time. Saira's in the tub playing. And I let her play for awhile. I went back in there and she took it upon herself to start washing up. And wouldn't let me help...LOL I think she washed herself 3 times...LOL

I'm so proud of her today. Major big girl day!! :)

Why am I so tired of the Internet? Is anyone else bored with it like I am?

Poor Kids

Woops, my poor kids are in for it now...LOL Last night I decided it's time to clean out their closets of all the toys. They have SOOOO much it's just so unreal. So I decided that today will be clean out day. I'll be taking everything to GoodWill. I hope I can get them both done in one day...LOL

Too early

You know, waking up at 6am is just to early...LOL Me and the kids made it Thursday and Friday. We got up and got ready and was ready to go before it was even time. But last night I didn't get to bed until 1am. I had to stay up and get this PartyLite candle stuff done. Normally I would've gone to bed at 10-10:30pm So I could have enough sleep. I do believe Saira and I will have a nap time today...lol Probably just after Ryan gets on the bus. Today is his first morning to ride the bus to school. He'll be on the big bus. Last year he rode the short bus for the Pre-K kids. He's also bring his lunch today. The 1st 2 days he ate the school tray lunch. He's excited to tote his little spiderman lunch box. Everything is spiderman.....lunchbox, backpack and nap towel. Last year it was the same thing....school box, backpack and lunchbox. Thank goodness it's new stuff...lol

Happy Monday everyone :)

Not Happy

Well, I just found out who Ryan's teacher is. He got the worst one. UGH! But my neighbors son will be in the same class along with Ryan's best buddy from last year. So there are some pluses. I wanted Ryan to have his teacher from last year's sister...it is her first year to teach and those girls are so great with kids. Their mom teaches 1st grade. I believe I blogged about this before...LOL So I won't bore you with that part. So I came home all depressed. UGH! But I've decided to look at it on the brighter side. Which is the neighbor boy is in his class and his best bud. Also his class is right next door to his old classroom. And I'll be able to visit with his teacher from last year. It makes me sad cause I won't get to have a close relationship with his kindergarten teacher this year. Like I did last year with his pre-k teacher.

Oh well though, I'll make lemonadeade from the lemons I was just given. :)

Just Beautiful

My heart just melted a second ago. Ryan comes to me and says, "That's just beautiful huh mama?". He was in the livingroom watching Land Before Time. It was over and the music was playing at the end. I could hear him in the livingroom singing and humming to the melody. Then he comes in here and says, "That's just beautiful huh mama?"

I haven't felt good today and earlier this afternoon he told me I needed to lay down and take a nap so I could rest. He told me to do that several times. He's been so sweet today. :)

New Look...

I'm going to give it a go at changing my background. Wish me luck. I don't know that I'll get it right. The codes for this blog stuff is weird. And I didn't put this pretty pink background up for me. My dear friend did it for me, and she's so great at this stuff....Hilary...wanna help??? LOL

Poor plant

For some reason, I can't remember to water my little ivy that Chad's aunt gave me a few months ago for helping take care of her when she had surgery. It's my first plant since we've moved into our own home. I wouldn't have old ones but a WITCH of a girl tossed my plants out, thinking I didn't want them. UGH! The ol' huzzy! She pissed me off big time, cause those ivy's were from my grandpa's funeral and my cousins funeral. And one was from YEARS and Years ago when I had a beta fish and thought I'd put one on top of his jar, but it didn't work out so I just potted the plant. I even had my dear friend Nina's brother drill holes in my metal pot so it would drain. Ahhhh memories of my good ol' plants. :( Makes me sad! :(

Well, anyways, I need to get some potting soil for this ivy that his aunt gave me...lol It needs to be repotted. And of course, forgetful me can't seem to remember to buy any...LOL I'm so lazy that I did buy a terracota pot to repot the little guy, but didn't get the soil, right... so I put a few plastic grocery sacks in the bottom of the pot to make the plastic container that the ivy came in stand up...lol

I'm pitiful! lol

Busy with Ryan

Well in Spring, it was T-Ball. The fall is coming and it's FOOOOOOOOTBALL time! We've signed our little guy up for youth football. Chad is going to help coach too. I think Chad is so excited about it. His dream is to be a coach. But we aren't sure if he's got the patience to do this with little kids. No, really, he'll do fine. But omg! Ryan is beyond excited about this. The kid got shoulder pads last Saturday when we signed him up and they gave him an old jersey so he can practice in. I kid you not, this child has not taken them off since then. He wakes up in the morning and puts on his pants from baseball, then slips on a tshirt and puts the shoulder pads on, manages to get his jersey on and THEN grabs his play helmet that he's had, gets a football and starts yelling out, "HUT 1, Blue 42, HUT HUT HUT!!!!!!" and runs around the house....ROTF!!!!! He thinks he's an NFL player already. But he won't take his get up off until bedtime...lol He's so darn cute with it all on though. Chad had a heart warming moment when he sae it on Ryan on Sunday for the first time. I do believe that's the moment Chad has waited on his whole life....to see his baby boy all dressed up for football. T-ball was cool and fun, but football is in the blood, it's in his family.

That's my boy! :)

Silly kids

A few minutes ago I told the kids to pick up their sandles by the door and put them on the shoe rack by the door. (we don't wear shoes in the house) So I told Ryan, you have 2 pairs, get them picked up and I told Saira, you have 1 pair, get them picked up. Chad has his good tennis shoes on the floor and I have my new pair of sandles. Ryan says, "mommy, why do you and daddy get to have your shoes on the floor still?" I told her cause There isn't anymore room on the show rack and also cause his daddy's show are like HUGE and don't fit on the shelf very well...lol He was fine with that answer. Just a minute later Saira blurts out, "OK, all done!!" She had picked up mine and Chad's shoes and piled them up on the shelf...LOL What a good cleaner upper, huh??? LOL

New Truck...WOW!

Today I was driving around in my hand-me-down '91 Ford mini-van and tonight I came home in a brand new 2005 Silver Dodge Ram 1500 QuadCab Lonestar Edition truck. Woohoo! We haven't had a new vehicle since Nov. of '97. Which was our '98 2 door Cavalier. We are so tickled to death.

Gotta love'em

I'm addicted to my Sims games again! AAAACK, HEEEELLLLPPPP...lol I'm hoping I get another expansion pack soon. Perhaps for my soon, upcoming birthday I can get one. I've already got Livin' Large, Houst Party, Hote Date and Vacation.

Anywho, I think it's time to play some Sims.

Later Gator!

Trip to the dentist

Poor Ryan had to go to the dentist on Thursday, June 16th. A cap had come off a molar and his tooth began to hurt him really bad. So I call up the dentist and got an appointment. They gave me a freaking 8am appointment. WHAT THE HECK, hello, that's way to early. We managed to get there at 8, thank goodness. We were first in line. YAY! So we went to the little room, he gets strapped down to the board and they get a look at the tooth and said it had to be pulled because the tooth was so far gone. Alrighty, that works, no drilling to totally freak him out. She was so cool, she went ahead and pulled his front top tooth that needed to come out. So he left with 2 less teeth. But she went ahead and capped the other molar that needed to be recapped. Go dentist lady. And it was all for a discount. She rocks! And Ryan was so brave. I liked her alot. She was so comforting towards him. I hope he gets to see her again the next time we go. :)

Live'n in the 80's

Alrighty, so maybe I've watched "13 going on 30" a little to much lately. But I'm always singing Pat Benetar "Love is a Battlefield". "....we are Young! Heart ache to heart ache, we stand!!! No promises, no demands...love is a battlefield". Last month I downloaded the song. And I just listened to it again. So here I am with my little fluffy 'rose' pen to my mouth like a mic and hopping and skipping around singing the song. Saira thinks I'm pretty darn cool...lol

OK, you CAN stop laughing NOW! Gesh...rotflmao!!!

It's an oldies night

And here I am tonight downloading all kinds of old country music that I remember listening to when I was a little girl. Although I have thrown in a few new good ones of todays new hits. Chad got me started on it tonight before he left. Him and Ryan went to play football on playstation with a few of the guys. Chad thinks Ryan's going to kick everyones butt. LOL I'll be sure to update you all on that one. :) But before he left we were listening to an Alabama song, "Close Enough To Perfect". And that got me started on an oldies kick. Country oldies that is. Any of you know of anything I should add to my list?

By the way, lets all thank Hilary for reminding me that I need to UPDATE. :)

For some reason I've been busy doing a bunch of nothing the last week. I suppose you can say we've been doing family stuff the last 2 weeks. Chad was without a job so we all kinda like hung out together and watched tv and all that jazz. So anywho, that's what's new.

Peace Out....(rotf)

Phones

So like, what's the point at being on the phone if you don't talk? HEHE I have a really good friend, where when we get on the phone, we start doing computer junk... like right now... We are on the phone... and blogging away. Yet not talking! ROTF It kills me! How about you Mary?

Whip it good

The other day Saira come to me, pulling her pull-up off. She has a clean one in one arm and her wipe in the other. She turns around says, "Mama, mama! Mama, Mama!! Pank me!!" LMAO So I popped her naked as a jay bird little hinney...HEHE! She then turns around and says, "Mama!!! NO NO More Pank Mama!! NO no more!!" HEHE!! She cracks me up!

This weekend

So this weekend hubby took us out for breakfast.......AT THE BREAK OF FREAKING DAWN! lol It was nice though. But who wakes up at 7am for breakfast? I thought he knew that IHOP served breakfast 24/7. But still, it was nice to go out as a family. This took place on Sunday. He says that's the only weekend we had because Saturday didn't count due to him having to work that day. lol Other than that my vans a/c was fixed. Praise the good Lord above for that. I went 2 years without it. UGH!! And here it was May and at 100 degrees or more with the heat index. Shewwww...HOT!

What Does Your Birth Date Mean?

What Does Your Birth Date Mean?

Your Birthdate: July 4

Being born on the 4th day of the month should help make you a better manager and organizer.
You may be more responsible and self-disciplined than you realize.
Sincere and honest, you are a serious and hard working individual.

Your feelings are likely to seem somewhat repressed at times.
The number 4 has something of an inhibiting effect on your ability to show and express affections, as feeling are very closely regulated and controlled.

You like?

Scroll down and you can see the blinkies I've added that my friends at Moms-Online have given me. :)

How agrivating!

This is totally agrivating me now. UGH!!! I've had 2 friends of mine call off their candle shows. How hard is it to get your friends over to smell candles? This one girl didn't have a problem getting people over for her Jewelry show a few months ago. The same girl was wanting to become a consultant. I've had 4 people tell me they want to become a consultant. Which is totally good for me, because that means leadership for me if I can get 2 more people to join. IF those 4 will do it. I want to grow and be big in this, but I don't think I can when stuff like this is always happening. :( I've yet to have my 6 shows that's required.

April Showers Bring May Flowers

Yeah right! LOL What April Showers??? Guess we won't have those May flowers...LOL!!

Maybe Mother Nature got a little confused and thought it was May Showers Bring June Flowers...lmao!!!

What a BUSY day!

This morning was the parade. The kids enjoyed riding in it. But it sure was COOOOOOOOLD! I had to get Chad to come back to the house to get Saira a blanket to cover up with. I was in short sleeves, capri's and flip flops. BURRRRR!

By the time that was over I had enough time to get cookies baked and a few other goodies fixed for my PartyLite Starter Show. My show did really well. I'm still taking in orders for a few more days though, then I'll close it out. Thursday is my first solo-show. OMG, I'm already getting nervious.

Saira's Pageant

Awww, I was so proud of her!! I couldn't believe she did everything I asked her to do, right on cue. YAY, Saira!!! She ended up with 1st Runner Up. Everyone was saying she should've gotten "Little Miss Mayhaw" though. But oh well. At least she placed this year. :) I was so excited for her...and she was too. She's so proud of her trophy. Anyways, she did the bow when I asked her to, she blew kisses, she waved like crazy and clapped. She was loving it up on stage.

She gets to ride in the Parade on Saturday. Ryan gets to ride as well, with his T-Ball team. I'll ride with her and Chad will be on the side of the road videotaping his babies. :)

Hi, I'm your new PartyLite consultant

Yes, I've finally found one that I like. And that would be PartyLite, which is candles. I'm suppose to be inviting all my friends and family that I know to my "starter party". And I have to get 6 parties booked before I can even get my package from my sponser. I've only gotten 3 booked though. This totally sucks. I can't get anyone else to help me out. :( Maybe this just isn't something I should be doing. I was so excited and thrilled to finally have something to do. And I love all the parties. I know that the 3 girls that booked a party for me aren't really interested in doing one. My starter party is for April the 30th. That is not this weekend, but the next. ....OK, so maybe I'm not your new PartyLite consultant.

Ok, nevermind

Everything is resolved, I am once again your new PartyLite Consultant. :)

Parties Parties Everywhere

I think I might be addicted to parties...lol Let's see, About a month ago I went to a Lady DeSiree Lingere party and booked a party. Then the same weekend I went to a Premier Designs jewelry party and booked a party. So Saturday the 9th I had my jewelry party. BUT, I wanted to get into selling the jewelry and become a consultant. Chad and I talked to the consultant that did the party I went to and we decided that wouldn't work. You have to pay $375 setup fee. Then another $700 for the products to get you going. BUT, you can opt for other ways. Anyways, we said nope. The other day my friend from Alaska says she's become a PartyLite consultant. I'm like, what's a PartyLite? She says, "It's CANDLE'S". I'm like, "OoOooo!! Candles!!" Then I tell her, "well, I was looking into the jewelry thing, but we said no." She says, "PartyLite is FREEEE, you put no money into it." Right then I knew Chad would be ok with it. YAY! And he was. So the other day I got on the net and requested a consultant to contact me. And this afternoon I had a call from the consultant. I was tickled PINK! So now I'm working on my list for my Starter Show. Woohooo!! BTW, my lingere party is this Friday.

fish fish fish

The last 2 weekends we've become a fishing family. We all LOVE it. Chad's grandpa gave me a rode and we went to Wal-Mart and bought me a cheap little reel for it. Ends up that I have the bestest rode and reel. :) Haha! In the last 2 weekends, Ryan has caught 11 fish. I've gotten 4. Chad's gotten about 6 or so. He's been helping the kids mostly. Saira's gotten 2. She has her own little fishing pole too. It's the Princess pole. Ryan's is Batman. We've been mennow fishing. So we have a new family thing to do and we love it. :) And it's cheap! :)

He's so sweet...

This morning, when I got up Ryan put the tv on channel 3 for me. I was so suprised. The thing is, is that every morning when he gets up, he'll go to the livingroom and start to play his playstation. The tv has to be changed to 00 for him to play. And when he's done, he'll put it on 03 for me, but I always HAVE to TELL him to get off the playstation. But not this morning. When I got up he said, "morning mama, I love you!" and changed the channel. Those little things are such sweet moments.

Fishing Day

Today we went fishing. Oh my gosh! We had sooo much fun. It was the kids first time to go fishing. Ryan caught 9 fish. Saira caught 2. He caught the biggest fish for the day. Me and Chad were so proud of him. The kids cousin Brooke came and she got 8 fish. Chad's grandma and grandpa came along. We all had the greatest time. I ended up with the worst sunburn on my left arm. OOOOOOUCH!! I've been miserable ever since. Oh, I got 2 fish as well. Chad just helped all the kids. He didn't have time to fish. But we all plan on going again this next weekend. I'll be sure to sunblock myself, like I did the kids. :)
