Sick!

That's got to be it, I must be sick or something. I can't believe it, I haven't scrapbooked in a month. ACK!!!! What's wrong with me. Boy howdy, I've shopped though....I've ordered pictures left and right. I have TOO many pictures now. My photo box is buldging...lmao!!! And I have pics from an event that still needs to be ordered. I better get the move on, cause summer vacation is coming around the corner. Literally, next weekend....LOL....it starts.

I have other pics I need to upload though. :)

And this is Ryan's 3rd birthday. It was a Spongebob party.

This is my new fav!!! It's of Saira when she was like 1 or 2 weeks old. It was her first outing, we had gone to my grandpa's house for a visit/birthday party for my aunt. She was actually in my aunts lap, laying longways, instead of across the lap. I turned it into a b&w and texturized it.

Fun Party!

Today was great! I had 6 great friends over today to join me for a 'Get Together' with Creative Memories. I had 2 girls that had never scraped before. They did great. They bought ALOT of stuff and they are going to become my new croppers with me. :) I'm real excited about that. We had a brunch before we started. So therefore I got up extra early to cook for my friends. We pigged out. YUMMM!! I managed to make 4 layouts in 4 hours. Yay me! :) I'll have pics to post later. :)

Update...

Hmmm, I've lost my scraping mood. I gotta go find it. I have so much to do. I think I've just been to tired to do any scraping or something. I dunno!?!

Keep a look out though. I'm gonna get a layout done real soon!! :) I hope before the 18th. That's my Creative Memories Get Together.

Challenge #24

Challenge #24 at scrapgalaxy is to blog about one of our graduations from school. So here goes.It was 8th grade graduation. It was the year of the Gulf war. We didn't wear caps and gowns. Just really pretty dresses. About 15 kids from 8th grade joined the Choir. I was one of them, along with my best friend. As far as I can remember, we only sang one song. It was dedicated to the men and women who were in the war, as well as our parents and teachers. We sang "Wind Beneath My Wings". I don't believe there was a dry eye in the house. And now every single time I hear that song, I always remember my 8th grade graduation, and us singing our hearts out. We did a beautiful job.

Awww, her 1st!

On Tuesday, a friend of mine came over to scrapbook with me. Saira likes to watch me when I scrap. Well, she kept asking for a piece of paper. And my friend started giving her all kinds of paper. Little 8x8's, little scraps and a couple of sheets of 12x12. I gave her a glue stick that I've never used. Can't stand glue sticks. And I gave her 2 wallet size pictures of Ryan, that I had already scrapbooked. And so later in the evening she showed me this. I helped her 'journal'. I held her hand to help her write out the date and Ryan's name. I bet she'll grow into the next Ali Edwards. So here's a picture of her layout. She did gooooooood, didn't she?!?! ;)

Today I made my first layouts for the year...LOL I did 7. :) Yay me!! And here's some pic's to look at. Some I'm proud of, some I'm not. But it's all good!

Here's what I did this evening. I love these papers. It reminds me of a quilt. Which reminds me of my grandma, who is in these pics. She would've loved this layout!!! I need to make a copy of the photo that I have from when I was a toddler that is 4 Generations and scrapbook it. :)

First B&W

I did this one last night. I journaled on it after I took the picture though. :) This is one of him when he was 2 1/2 years old...asleep in the car.

I had my papers already done. Just needed to get the pictures on there, along with everything else. I'm going to journal where the empty spots are on the candycorn paper.


I'm sorry this next one is so crappy, but I didn't feel like pulling the protective sleeve off of it...LOL It's of Saira's first trick or treat. I plan putting 'First' and 'Halloween' around that bottom picture with the spiderwebs on it.


And this was the last one I got done. It was around 5am...LOL And I was laughing so hard I had no idea if it was going to turn out or not. For some reason, the photo on the top looks weird. But it's really not. It's just the camera. And I totally didn't journal on any of them yet. I don't think I could've with all the laughing we did. LOL

Today Kim and I cropped at my house. She was able to get 7 pages and me only 5. So here you go...


I love this one. I did my first distressing to my page. I did it on the cardstock mats of my pictures. And on the edge on the cut papers.


This was Ryan's Pre-K gradution invitation he made at school and his teacher mailed it to the parent. So I scanned it. :) She also sent that picture with the invitation. On the top right black square, I'll be journaling on that when I get a white pen. :)

Love this one!

I made this 2 page layout at Kim's house on 11/3/06. The papers and embellishments aren't anything special. Just a Halloween scrap pack with 600+ stuff in it that I got from Wal-Mart.
