Wow, what a busy month that was!! We had Ryan's school play, Easter parites at school, Spring Break, St. Patrick's Day and Easter. And we also started baseball and t-ball practice. Chad and I were able to attend 2 Rodeo/Concerts at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. We watched Big and Rich one night and then 3 days later we watched Pat Green.
I can't believe that April is here. The months are going by so quickly!!

I’ve been tagged!
Ally tagged me and I now have to think of 7 random facts about myself..
Here's how it works:
1. Link to the person that tagged you and leave a comment on their blog, so that their readers can visit yours.
2. Post the rules on your blog.
3. Share 7 Random facts about yourself on your blog.
4. Tag 7 random people at the bottom of your post, linking to their blog. Let each person know by leaving a comment on their blog.
Ok, well here are 7 completely useless facts about me:
1. I hate laundry!!
2. I could sleep til 10:30 everyday if I didn't have to get up early
3. outdoors is not my thing, I'd rather stay inside
4. I always get stumped on thise tags...lol
5. a manicure would be nice right about now ;)
6. ah heck, a pedicure too... ;) lol
7. last but not least, I only buy Starbucks coffee grounds to make at the house. mmmm
So, these are the people I have tagged....
Angie, Mary, Darlene, Kari, Michele, Shannon, Katie

American Idol Challenge #3
This was made for the American Idol scrap-tastic.com contest. The Challenge was to create a LO with an E! True Hollywood theme to it. With LOTS of journaling and at least 3 photos.
I also used the tag that I made from the Scrapperie cyber crop in February.
Journaling:
*Born July 4th 1976, as Jayme Lyn Clark in Pasadena, Texas, she was a firecracker baby. She was raised all over the U.S. because her dad worked all over as a constructual Electrician. They moved practically every two years. She went from her home town of Houston, Texas to Mississippi then to Louisiana and back to Houston. Next you would have found her in Friendswood, Texas. After 2 years she was in Granbury, Texas. And again after 2 years they moved. They took the big move over to California. Barstow, Ca was home for 2 years and then to Twentynine Palms, Ca. They spent 3 years there. Low and behold she didn’t know that her next move would be her home for good. It was her 9th grade year of High School. During October they moved back home to Texas to a very small town called Hardin. But after a year or two they needed to find a home to buy and that was in Moss Hill, a little TINY small town that was neighboring Hardin. She didn’t have to move and change schools.
*At the end of her Senior year of High School, she found the love of her life, Chad Downs from Daisetta, Texas. He was 2 years younger than her. He was from a neighboring small town and went to a different school. After she graduated school, she’d keep herself busy with spending time with her grandparents and helping them out. During that time she landed her first real job besides babysitting. Her great aunt informed her of a job in the Media Service Department of the Administration building of the P.I.S.D. (her birth city). She worked there for the summer. While Chad was still in school, he proposed to her and she excepted. At some point they began to spend the weekend together either at his parents house or her parents house.
*After he graduated from High School in 1997, they married September 20, 1997 just 3 days before he turned 19 and she was 21 at this time. On September 30, 1999 their family started with their first child. Three years later their second child was born. Which gave them a boy and a girl. Jayme is highly involved with their activities such as football, cheerleading, t-ball and baseball and school. Her dream was to be a Stay At Home Mom to raise her children and that is what she’s happily doing to this day.

What a GREAT surprize!!!
OMG, when I checked my mail on friday, I had a key in my box (we have post office boxes here). So I get my little wonderful key and take it to the lock boxes and see what awaited me.... It was a big package from my dear friend Kari from BlogLand! She is just tooooo much. She sent me sooo many things. I know those people that walked into the post office thought I was a weirdo for Ooo'ing and Ahhh'ing over my goodies from her. LOL
Her and I had talked about envelope making before and she came across an evelope templete and thought of me and grabbed an extra and sent it with MANY other fun things. I can't wait to work on the heart shapped book and the flowers are gorgeous. There are a baggie of little autumn leaves and as soon as I saw those Fall cards popped in my head.
Kari, you made my day, TOTALLY. And I'm truly sorry that I wasn't able to post about it and give my thanks to you sooner. But you know how Easter weekend can get. ;)
Lots and Lots of hugs to you!!!!! :) :)

My goodness, I have so much to share....
Wow, I haven't even shared the projects that we made from the workshop at my SU! demonstrators house from last weekend. Shame on me!!
So this is the ADORABLE little egg basket we made from a template and embossing. It was my first time to emboss and we even did the tissue. Cute huh?!? You can get the template from Amy Celona's blog.
And then we made these two cards. Aren't they cute? We did some embossing on the St. Patty's card.
This is the American Idol LO for Challenge #2 at Scrap-Tastic.com. We had a list to choose from for our title. And of course they were song titles. I chose 'call me'. We had to use metal, stamps and stars....so I used a star stamp.
This LO was for a challenge at Scrapperie for a theme, which was Easter/Spring. So I made another page for Ryan's easter pics from 2006. I love the little glittered corners on the left side. :)
The next challenge at Scrapperie was to scraplift a favorite LO of my own. So I lifted the one of Me and Chad called 'Truly Madly Deeply'. We also had a few other things in the list we could choose from to go with this challenge.
Patterned paper – Basic Grey or Imaginesce
Specialty paper – grid or lined paper
Lettering – stickers, Thickers, or rub-ons
Embellishments – buttons, ribbon, or brads/eyelets,
Technique to try – try some stamping on your layout!
Photos – How about a layout with you in it?!
Inspiration – scraplift yourself! Find a layout you've done in the past that you like and lift it!
And this also goes along with the other LO I did for his first day of 2nd Grade.
Last one, this was for another challenge at scrapperie. It was a circle sketch challenge. And again I made another LO to go with Ryan's Easter 2006.
If you hung around and looked at all of this, I thank you :) I'll try not to be a slacker anymore...LOL But as you can see, I've been rather busy creating. :)

getting in the Easter Mood
I just realized I need to pull out my Easter decorations and get the house all prettied up for Easter. ;) That's just 3 weeks away. WOW!!
Earlier this morning I started this LO and I just finished it. This nasty weather we had today got me into a sleepy trance all afternoon.
This is me, I was some where around 3 or 4 years old. I'm not really sure, and my mom isn't answering my phone calls for some reason...UGH...so I can't ask her. So I'm going to journal on it later on when I can reach her.
Supplies:
PP- Daisy D's and MME
Ribbon- AC and SU!
Flowers- Target
Brads- ??
Buttons- Target and Walmart
Ink- Cats Eye chalks
die cut stickers- Paper Studio
