Our New Year Celebrations

Well, we didn't get to go out and celebrate with our friends. My bitch of a sister-in-law punked out on us. Chad and I are extremly bitter about the whole situation. We had a nice evening with the kids though. We had our dinner and then ran up to the firecracker stand and grabbed a few hand fulls of goodies. All Saira wanted was a few boxes of those snappers that you throw on the ground. LOL She's so easy. ;) Ryan wanted blackcats of course. So we got him a few 4, 5 or 8...LOL ;) We got a few of the pretty colorful fountain type fireworks as well. When we got back, we started setting them off and by the time we finished we were FREEZING. We had a great time doing that. We came back in the house and started up the Rockin' New Years Eve with Dick Clark. I so enjoy watching the ball drop!! I was mighty impressed with the new LED lights in the ball and the double-cut crystal triangles on the ball.

I tried to call you when the ball dropped to do our Happy New Years to one another, but you must've been partyin' like it was 1999. LOL ;)

So after we Ooo'ed and Ahhh'ed over the bright and shiny ball, we had to take our new year pics. So here we go.....

And here's myself... :) Ryan took this of me. He's pretty good, huh? Chad took a few, and they were totally terrible pictures...LMAO!! So I asked Ryan if he wanted to try and it only took him this one shot. Go Ryan!! ;)
