Nice Family Time

Yesterday was a really yucky day from the rain and cold. Chad didn't go to work due to the cold and wet roads. He called in and over half of everyone was already rained out. So he got to spend the day with us. Me and Saira enjoyed having him home with us. He helped with getting Ryan ready for school. And then we all took him to the end of the road so the bus could pick him up. The little bus that always picks him up in front of the house was broke down. So we waited at the end of the road, he got picked up and we proceeded to town to take care of the shopping. Paid a bill and we had lunch as well. We got home just in time for Chad to go pick Ryan up from school. And then we went to the barbar shop to get hair cuts. Much needed hair cuts. Even though he picked Ryan up, Saira and I went to the school anyways to visit with Ms. Guye, Ryan's teacher. Her and I have become really good friends and Friday is our visiting day. Saira has a great time playing with Jenny, that's Ms. Guye. Today we went to her sisters classroom, her sister and mom both teach at the school as well. LOL, yep, 3 Ms. Guye teachers...LOL But anyways, we went to her sisters room to help her out with her ebay auction she won. LOL Nothing like playing on ebay at school...lol!! Saira did the funniest thing. She found this big dish full of those flat marbles and she was digging around in them. She got one and I told her that's enough of that and to get away from it. I figured I better move her away from the big dish. She said, "nooooo I 'eed two" LOL She needed two flat marbles. How does a 2 year old know how many two is???

For Christmas Ryan got flashcards, for letters and numbers. The last couple of days we've been going through all the letters. Even though the class hasn't been told which each letter is yet and what objects the letters start with. Although they can say the alphabet. But anyways, we went through the whole pile of cards and he knew them all except for maybe 5. At school they learn a new letter every week. As well as learning different things that start with that letter. One other thing that I'm proud about that he's doing now, is trying foods that he doesn't like during lunch. Ms. Guye's teachers aide has Ryan trying new foods.

The other day Saira and I were cleaning up the house. We started off in the livingroom, picking up all the scattered about toys. I instructed her to pick this and that up and she did. Then she went off to the corner to pick up the "junk" toys as I call them, and to put them in the toy basket. I found something else for her to take to her room and I told her to take it and she responded, "MAMA! I kean up". She said it like 3 times and I just died laughing and told her excuse me and I was sorry. LOL!!! She was referring to herself cleaning up the "junk" toy mess, letting me know she was busy. Silly little girl, she always cracks me up.

Today I picked up Ryan from his grandma and grandpa's house. He wanted to stay with his uncle last night. So I picked him up and we headed to town to pay a bill. I stopped and picked them up a happy meal and I asked him if he had a good time and replied with yes and I asked him if Dylan's friend Logan got to stay with them as well and he said, "Yep, there was 4 of us." He was sure enough right, another little boy showed up to stay the night before we all left last night. He's getting so smart

Answers about Saira...

There are a few questions about Saira. Her clothes size is 2T but I'd like 3T's so she'll have something to wear come summer time. Like shorts or capri's and short sleeve shirts. She wears a size 8 1/2 shoe, but a 9 would be great. She LOVES shoes! She's really loving her Fisher Price Little People stuff. Here's a list of what she would like to go with what she has. She has the Farm, House, Playground and Noah's Ark.

Little People® Hippos, Pandas & Alligators
Little People® Animal Sounds Zoo+
Little People® Baby Zoo Animals+
Little People® Musical Zoo Train+
Little People® Suprise Sounds Fun Park-
Little People® Parading Pals-
Little People® Musical Ferris Wheel-
Little People® Neighborhood Vehicles
Little People® Lil' Farmers Market*
Little People® Lil' Sidewalk Rider^
Little People® Baby Farm Animals*
Little People® Animal Sounds Stable*

Some of those things will complete her farm house collection with the (*). One of them will complete her Sweet Sounds Home with the (^). There is Amusment Fun Park stuff with the (-). And Zoo stuff with the (+). I think we'll pass on the My Little Pony stuff, or maybe just 1. ??

I can't decide on what time to have the party. I'm thinking 3pm like usual. And of course, on the 22nd. That's a Saturday.

Movie Critic Time

Last night we rented "Troy". That was a really great movie! I'll for sure be putting that on my buy list.

Birthday Party Time

It's time to plan a birthday party. Saira will be 2 years old on the 22nd. I think I'll have a "My Little Pony's" theme for her. She really likes them. She has 3 My Little Pony's and lots of the no name brand. I've noticed she's been keeping them gathered up in one spot of her room. And she likes to tote the brushes around. She really doesn't need any toys at all for her birthday. She got way to much stuff for Christmas. So therefore I'm going to ask everyone to either get her a pair of shoes, books and shorts or capri outfits. Today I exchanged a shirt that Santa brought her for Christmas for a Valentine's dress. It's amazing how a little girl goes crazy over clothes. ?? It really cracks me up.

Something that's on my mind...
WHY do I have to be bombarded by SOOO much spam? It's driving me crazy. I delete anywhere from 70-100 emails a day. All junk/spam email. It's been a little over a year now that I took control over the popups, but what do you do about spam?

I've been trying to get caught up on my online photo contest the last couple of days. Over the holidays I became a major slacker.

Yesterday (Thursday) was report card day for Ryan. He's doing so excellent. He has 7 or more E's and the rest are S or S+. His teacher says he's one of her best students. That sure does make you feel good as a parent to hear good comments like that.

Happy New Year

Simply amazing!! The year just flies by like a flash of light. I'd love to know how to make it slow down a little bit. Does anyone know how to??? Last night we watching Dick Clark's Rocking New Years Eve minus Dick Clark. We had my mother in law, father in law and brother in law over for chips and cheese dip. Chad fell asleep shortly after 11. Me and the kids finished watching the show, woke him up to say Happy New Years and to get our hugs and kisses. It was the sweetest thing hearing my Little Missy say, "Happy 'ew ear"!! Then the kids and I had some very yummy and tasty Welch's Sparkling Red Grape Juice. YUM-O!!!!! Saira couldn't get enough of it...LOL

Yesterday my New Years Eve neice was born. She's a precious little thing. Saira and Ryan were so in love. Her name is Shyanne Nicole or Shianne. Don't know if it's an I or a Y. She was born at 4:10pm, 8lbs and 19in.

On the 30th my brother treated Chad and I to WWE RAW. It was his first time to go and it was mine and Chad's second time to go. We all had a great time. I got to see Triple H's bare naked bootie. WooWee! They did that since it wasn't being televised.
